My Official £50-£46,000 betting challenge

AC Milan to qualify against Arsenal is currently 1.03 on Betfair. That looks a decent price considering other bookies range between 1-100 and 1-500!
 
I went for over 2.5 goals at 1.18 when it was 2-0.

Turned out to be a good bet. You can bank on there being more goals in this Aswell!
 
Hmm, i'm interested in starting this for some fun. Will anyone care to send me a referal link for betfair?

Looks like a way to waste a bit of time at night and weekends!!

i learn quickly not not bet on cleansheets and over/under goals :P

stick to patiently waiting for games where thewres only 5minutes left and a team is winning 2-3 by 2-3 goals most of the time the games still have 1.03 odds

i noticed some betting websites dont tell you what minute the match is in for a lot of foreign football but usually you can find out on sites like

Well i've signed up, just had a go with 2 bets fo 2.50 to see if i've got it right, will be taking deposit upto £25 later, and hoping I win the two bets!! If not it;s a learning experience.

Do people use the classic or beta pages for the site?
 
Well i've gone from £10 to £17.92, had a few luck results, and a few where odds where rather odd, and also last once on the barcelona game, had a 3-1 for barcelone and it ended up stupid but also had a over 7 goals, so didn't work out too bad!!!
 
i do this weekly but at different odds, start with £100 then get to £200 and cash £100.

i used to place big £2-300 bets for little return, ie £30,£40 untill i lost £350 in one hit!

learned my lesson from then on.....


lost £32 today though :(
 
Well I bet on Pumas Morelos vs. Mérida 0 - 0 to that result at half time and nothing has occurred in my account, going to wait till full time and see if anything happens, if not will be speaking to them regards what I did wrong!!

I had some good odds!! Here;s the result from the profit and loss bit. Anyone notice anything wrong?

Nevermind, think I found problem, it was 1-0 at half time apparently but sites I was watching were all saying 0-0!!! Doh!!!!!!
 
I'm back to £75 after my last defeat. Keep forgetting about it though. So I'll be lucky if I'm doing 1 a day.

I am being very careful this time round, waiting till at least half time and under goals or team winning bets only. 1.01,1.02 or 1.03 only too.

Taking ages obviously, but less risk in the end.
 
True, i've dropped down a lot recently by being stupid and playing around £80 on hoime teams rated around 1.6 to win.

Learnt my lesson and building myself up again now.

Did anyone else have a bet on Germany v Japan womens? Germany were 2.06 to win from the start which i bet on. Then went 2-0 up, at which point i almost cashed in but decided against it. Japan then pulled 2 back. Then around the 88th minute, Germany scored to make it 3-2. Then around a minute later Japan equalised again. And then straight after Germany scored to make it 4-3 at which it ended.

Must've been a great game to watch!
 
I had a similar bet to that on milan last week, the away side had odds of 6 or 7 to win at the beginning of the game, they were 2-0 up after about 75 minutes so i thought it was safe. Milan ended up scoring 2 goals in the last 10 minutes or so to level the game. Was only a £2 bet, but was still gutted.

I also recently played my whole wallet on a team winning in the 91st minute. The touch website stated the score was 2-1 to the away side (just scored). odds were 1.35 ish (which seemed stupidly high). Tried to place the bet thinking it probably wouldn't be matched, but the bet went through with odds of about 65, went back to the game screen and the score had gone back to 1-1. Wasn't happy to say the least.

Luckily it was only £28 as i'd taken £125 out of my account to buy some bike stuff, not a bad result from a £20 start up.

Will start up again soon..
