My poor little angel is not well

Shes has just rung me and it looks like there putting the drip back on her :( She had a very unsettled night

I managed about 90 minutes of sleep last night which is the most i have managed and this morning I made the mistake of looking in the mirror and was startled by what i saw

Think i shall be needing a shave :p

still sending positive vibes your way. :)

Make that a double helping! ;)

Don't really no what say Skywalker. I was really glad to read that her condition was finally pinned down and that her drip was taken away as she was responding to treatment. It's sound like she's a tough little tike, so I'm sure the drip won't be back for long! :)

Been away for a few days so this is the first I've heard about this thread.

Just wanted to say that I'll be thinking about you and yours, hope she gets better soon mate.

Chin up.

Pulse and temp anre coming right down now , only the breathing still worrying them at the moment . The wife has come home to try and get some kip aswell and just enjoyed a nice meal at the mothers

When I asked the nurses if it was pneumonia they would say yes or no - Just that the chest infection had gone to her lungs , She is keeping food down now but not wanting to eat to much but thats something atleast

I know from experience that breathing problems are always worse at night, so don't be too downhearted about this.

Anyway, stop posting on other threads and get some ZZZZZZZ's. (I didn't get this name by accident you know)

Excellent news. It does sound like some sort of allergy surely? The temperature has come down, the heart rate also in line with this, but the airways are still a bit tense meaning the breathing problems aren't going away just yet. Sounds like the body had a sudden reaction to something it didn't like.

Lovely pic by the way. She really is gorgeous.

Awww and shes so cute too.
I dont post much but have been following this thread, and Im sure that she'll be fine in the end, kids are tougher than they look, I know from experience due to my job how hardy they can be. And the seizures might have been due to her high temperature, the disabled child I look after (who has epilepsy anyway) always has more seizures when hes coming down with something or is ill and has a temperature.
Best wishes to you all.

Just to pick up on this, when my little one (who is now 3) was in hospital with a severe fever and a temperature we couldn't control, she was having fits every now and then. The doctor said its perfectly normal for babies to have these fits because they aren't able to produce sweat like older children and adults can in an attempt to lower the body temperature. Hearing this was a great relief for me at the time.

Skywalker i feel ya pain as father also. She in the safest hands, a loving family! As a Don said here, Kids are the fastest healing at anyhting pretty much. Only wish i was. I hope she gets better soon and you all have a good start to the new year.

UPDATE

Sorry i havent posted in a few days , been spending all the time up the hospial with her . Everything is looking good to a certain extent now where as the temp , pulse are concered .

They are still concered with her breathing as she still needs to have the oxygen on during the night as she cant manage without it in the evening

The fits are finally getting dealt with aswell as i spent 30 minutes with the consultent today and they are organising a brain scan for her in the near future

Will try and put up more updates when I can
