cool! well, good skills!

not sure about the blue either but thats personal... I just figured with all that attention to detail on the case itself to go painting it a similar colour to what it already was (ish, sort of) seems a bit of a wasted opportunity.... how about lime green or dark purple?

etc etc

well the blue gives a nice moody feel inside with the leds and cathode on, plus i wanted a white/blue contrast, its growing on me, this is my first w/c setup and im amazed it has gone without a hickup, i was extra careful tho checked things over a dozen times.

just need to finsih the outside of the case now, might leave it a few weeks so i can get my exam out the way for uni first

Temps using speed fan are 35C for each core idle, dunno if thats gd or bad, its been running now for about 5hours solid

click the 2 buttons that say "start" then leave it for an hour.. thats a pretty good test of how hot your max is.

Then just flex it with you ambient temps, ie in july its going to be a good 5 to 10c hotter than today.

actually my room is boiling, im living in uni dorms, i cant sleep at night unless i have my tower fan on, the roomtemp at the minute is a swealtering 29C so thats not gonna help :( il do that test once ive finished playing :P

jesus..

well anyway, if you're int he mid 20s ambient and idling mid 30s thats fine.

you want to get a full sustained load temp just to be sure but all looks well!

just remind me, what was it like when you first switched it on and heard a bit of water noise any nothing else??

Thats still one of my fondest pc building memories.. like OMFG, its actually almost silent.. and look! water! moving water! what have I done!!! (copywrite matt100 2004 :D)

well at first was a bit noisy as a few bubbles circulated there way around, but then it selttled down after 5mins and i havnt heard a burp or seen a bubble since :)

im using the two bottom holes on the resovoir and it makes a cool vortex/whirlpool effect lol

another pic, trying to find the best setting on my stupid casio camera

Looking good Bryan

What happened to the microres and circles on the front panel, bro?

(obviously got sacked along the way)

Seems like you went for a more "traditional" install . . . what is left to do?

well i decided to use the original front as a base as it would save a lot of time and effort, but its curved so the microres wouldnt sit flat against it, however im gonna put a a line of little circles down the front so u can see the water level, im pleased i got the bigger res, it made it a lot easier to fill the system.

Things left to do:

Finish the front panel, drill holes so u can see the resovoir level
Finish the side panels, (looking at putting another window in the side)
Paint the panels, dvd drive, and feet white

I downloaded the nvidia monitor to have a look a gpu temps, i got 46C idle which is low to some temps ive seen on the forums, im gonna have a day stress testing tomoz to see if i can make the system sweat a little, then im gonna overclock the cpu :) once i have a read up about it

Awesome build, went so smoothly  Perhaps a little smoothly but hey it works perfectly! :D

Time for the overclocking to commence...soon! I await my alcohol beverage in return for my l33t skillz :p
