My Water Cooling Log Bikerz

So far Alex and I (well I do the adjusting he tells me what to do) lol

We have 3.5Ghz.

The trouble we have run into is how to unlink the RAM anyone know? Its on a ASUS P5KC mobo , anyone?

Right we are upto 3.56Ghz with 1.47V, temps get upto 47C on hiest core on prime when testing. So very happy already. Good work Alex. lol

I may leave it and go to bed. Im sure il ring you in morning. Once again thanks mate, realy pleased. Test 7 now

It failed on 1.55V, so trying 1.56V now. CPUZ reads 1.31V temps are 58 prime95 testing. This ok?

Trying 1.57V now. Upto 59C.

STABLE at 1.57V.

Yeap V drop is insane on this board. Alex wants to rename it Damien.lol.

Thats why I have to put 1.57V through her to become stable. Upto 61 C now

im at 3.6 with 1.4875 volts on air, and my CPU is a 1.2875 chip, yours is a 1.2375?! 1.57 is huge!

Sheldon did the over clock pass the prime 8hr mark ok?

There's a pencil vdroop mod for that board, might be worth doing.

Instructions here.

I did a similar thing with my old asus board, worked a treat.

well worth considering as that motherboard is totally evil

Personally i think this CPU has potentially a lot of head room for an over clock. The mother board is however proving to be the limiting factor preventing this.

Nice link billsterno1 ;)
