N95 Release

its startying fresh with orange. Was on o2 but didn't like them too much as beggining of contract threatened to block the phone and make me still pay for contract plus orange give magic number and i only ring one person sept sometimes parents.

so for a new contract that ok?

was thinking that maybe if after a week or so say i want to cancel because its too expensive or not enough minutes or something you think that mauybe they will give me slightly mroe to keep me?

Is very possible, i left orange recently (but will be going back) they offered me 220 any time, any network minutes, 150 txts for £10/month with a free w880i.

orange are offering this deal wondering if its any good for orange, any places that can do better?

£35 per month on 18 month contract + £6 for insureance per month
£90 for n95
600mins plus unlimited texts
£100 credit so bascially paying for the phone

This any good? Probably going to take it out and atleast try it and the phone. If its no good how easy is it to cancel contract?

what memory card comes in the box? from orange i can buy a 1gb for £45 which making me think it comes with nothing.

Don't know why they just don't give you the phone free.....Seems silly.

I recently got
(18 Month)

N95 - Free (Sold on the bay for £450!!!)
600 Anytime/network mins
500 Txts
O2 Long Weekends (3000 anytime/network mins every Fri-Sun)

£28 a month.

My mate couldn't believe it - he phoned up when I told him what a good deal I got and O2 said it ws too good to be true and there 'was no way we could offer that deal'. I phoned them up and said - yes you did, I have it in writing!!!

hehehehehe

just checked my box and i didn't recieve any memory card :(

Anyone know whether i should have recieved one with it?

I just got one on O2, came with a 1GB Card in the box.

Not bad when i only paid £20 for the handset, and i get my contract at half price, £20 per month for 800 Anytime/Network Mins, 500 Texts & the "long weekend" offer.

i'm happy with that :D

How would i go about gettin a deal that good. Paying that per month sounds perfect for me with a good amount of texts and minutes. Would i have to go into an o2 shop or just phone them and ask?

That deal he got is probably an upgrade, i'd be very surprised if you could get that deal on a new contract.

is that 12 month or 18 month?

I've had my N95 on t-mobile for 2 weeks and have decided I don't like t-mobile. The network coverage in my area and a couple of other places I've been have been very poor.
Luckily T-mobile let you return it within 14 days and you pay nothing as long as you used their streetcheck when ordering the phone.

It's a shame as the deal is imo the best available (Flext 35 web n walk - £37.50/month).

I'll be moving to Orange on the Dolphin 35 (600 mins / unlimited texts / £100 credit for £35/month).

It's a new 18 month contract, but i only got it as it was a special offer for 1 day for staff at the place i work. As they have one of the O2 Callcentres in one of their buildings across the road.

How much was the phone on that contract, did you haggle?

The phone cost me £49.99.
The £37.50 included the £5 off a month that was/is on offer.

I didn't try and haggle, although my brother had phoned them before trying to haggle and they weren't going to change anything.
I get the same responses from all the networks on new contracts with the N95 - they won't/can't change the price plan or the cost of the phone!

one thing thats really stressed me out with o2 is that they cant change my number from one online account to another. I bought the n95 and i have an old k750i with them also. So i have to transfer my old number to PAYG, then from PAYG to my n95. Why isnt it possible? we live in the year 2007 for christ sake !

Looks like i will be going with T-Mobile now. Been phoning about and i just cant seem to get a good deal with either O2 or orange. Been with o2 since the day the Nokia 3310 came out, but they couldnt care less.
