NBA 14/15 Season

I think experts should choose a shortlist, or the team, then people can vote on the starters. It's just a bit boring and perdictable at the moment that the same over the hill, but still popular players get picked every year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not thinking or believing the T-Wolves are world beaters right now but I think they can upset a few in the west this year, would definitely be shocked if they cant make a good playoff run over the next 2 seasons. Lost K Love and a few bench guys but they have picked up the last 2 number 1 draft picks and Thaddeus Young off the back of his best season at the 76ers.

Other than that I'll say what I say every year, it's Chicago's season!! :)

T Wolves 7-34.. like I said :P

Good shout on the Bulls though, I fancy GSW from here. They score an insane number of points per game.

Yea I didnt foresee Rubio being out for so long again. Disappointing.

As for the Bulls, I dont care what spot we take as long as we are in the playoffs. We have a great win/loss ratio with a full starting 5 so with some long long long deserved luck we can have a fit starting 5 and a deep deep run.

Cavs streaking like mad now.

Hawks are playing up well.

GSW are immense.

Rondo not pulling up trees at the Mavs.

From the lovely Heat perspective Wade and Bosh guff as I knew they would be, Whiteside looks a real classy player though.

Really enjoying the season from a general entertainment perspective.

Oh well, so just noticed they have scraped the rising stars to some extent... instead of picking the leagues best young guys its a USA vs the World format. Should still be interesting but was always good to see if the new guys could beat the 2nd years.

There might be more but I think this is pretty much it...

Kevin Garnett to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Thaddeus Young.

OKC trade Reggie Jackson to the Detroit Pistons in a three team deal. The Utah Jazz got Kendrick Perkins from the Thunder, OKC got Enes Kanter, Steve Novak, D.J. Augustin and Kyle Singler.

Pablo Prigioni to the Houston Rockets for Alexey Shved.

76ers sent Michael Carter-Williams to the Milwaukee Bucks with Brandon Knight going to the Suns, along with Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee moving to the Bucks. Sixers got a protected first-round pick that belonged to the Lakers.

JaVale McGee to Philadelphia as well as a first-round pick, with 27 year old Turkish SG/SF, Cent Akyol of Anadolu Efes having his rights being traded to Denver. The rights for Nigerian Center Chukwudiebere Maduabum, 23, are transferred to Philli.

K.J. McDaniels to the Rockets with Isaiah Canaan and a second-round pick going to Philli.

Goran Dragić and his younger brother Zoran go to the Heat for Danny Granger and two first-round picks to go to the Suns... Shawne Williams and Norris Cole to the New Orleans Pelicans with John Salmons going to the Suns.

Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee to the Trail Blazers with the Nuggets picking up Will Barton, Thomas Robinson, Victor Claver and future draft picks.

Andre Miller to the Kings with Ramon Sessions going the other way to the Wizards.

Isaiah Thomas to Boston with Marcus Thornton and a first round pick going to the Suns.

Tayshaun Prince back to the Pistons in exchange for Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome.

Rumours swirling that Dragic won't re-sign and might try to go for LAL in the off season, same rumours for Rondo, either would be a kick in the nads for them organisations.

That was also the case with Rondo, plus I think its more that the Mavs wont pick him up on a new contract rather than Rondo not signing. This is the nature of a mid season trade with a guy in his final year.

As a Mavs fan myself, watching Rondo last night, looked like Rick gave Rondo a lot more decision / play making on the floor last night and he looked so much better for it. Will be interesting to see how they can take that forward into the playoffs (hopefully as the west is stacked)
