NEARLY 2 WEEKS WAITING: Nissan GT-R is finally mine!

:(

It broke.

Any update me old mucker?

Initial testing seems to confirm my thoughts that it is a solenoid related issue rather than a mechanical failure. All the pressures and shifting are spot on.

It is likely to be something similar to this

Where the immensely powerful magnets inside the solenoid have just accumulated years and years worth of metallic particles.

Lmao. Annoyingly it's probably reaching an age where the odd bit will start to die but not bad at all considering how hard it's driven.

Quite, you are right though, I am thinking towards the end of next year to rip all the mods off, put it back to standard, and get a later model. Possibly a 17 plate which someone is looking to shift just as the factory warranty is coming to an end.

Hi guys!

Today had a last minute spot available for the Viezu AWD dyno day. So I snapped it up.

Heres the run :)

The loudest car of the day by far, many fingers in ears before the end of the run :D :D :D

What's reliability like on presumably stock internals and just about everything else at that kind of figure?

As with modifying anything over stock power, roll the dice take yer chances.

However, when you cap it at low 600s on torque you are "safe" upto about 700 hp on stock internals with many people running that for years without issue.

On the other end you hear of people who have bent rods at stage 1.

Hey guys!

Some of you already know, but for those who don't car went up for sale!

Moving into either a GT4 or a 17 plate.

Car is booked in to go back to stock and will be going for 35-36k. Got to say im really gutted to be selling this car, its done me so well, ooooodles of fun and joy, never failed to bring a smile to my face. If anyone is interested I can arrange an ocuk discount :)

Drove home today from Litchos after having the car put back to how it was the day I purchased it, 28 pages ago as all going well it will be gone next week.

Slightly sad as what a 3 years its been, this car truly has made my day, every single day, through the good and the bad. Whenever I needed a pick me up or a de-stress, hop in and just let the power mold your face into a smile. I have no doubts at all I'll be back in another GTR soon enough.

If anyone is ever in the position to buy one of these cars, just do it and enjoy the hell out of it.
