NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

You seem to have the same graph 3 times.

Would be good to see the other - not sure that's really 516hp with that flick up at the end though. Looks a solid 500 though

Should be three different images though, as in previous runs loaded into background. Are you seeing three identical images?

Yeah I did explain in the OP it spikes at the end due to limiter issue and based on the point just before the spike its pretty much a solid 500. :)

And here I thought you all knew what you were on about when it came to cars! Now it turns out you're all Pzeroist Michelin supremacists! So much hate here. It should be a crime.

With that much torque and only RWD think I'd buy some winter tyres.... will be my first winter with a Z4 and the RS, so will see how they cope without.

The MPSS work fine, it is only when road have sweated and its freezing or below zero they spin easily but so would any tyre. If it snows I will shall work from home or take the M3 and do some big slides. :D

Anything over 600BHP is troublesome work in winter months even for AWD/4WD too.

Not necessarily true ;) but to be fair Kent isn't exactly the Peak District or Dales with snow and ice yet, we're only just starting to frost up nicely :D

Yeah slight difference, its being as cold as -6c up here in the past couple of weeks and some of the country lanes needed some caution.

What sort of power gains are you expecting with the exhaust manifolds? And do people fit uprated camshafts as well? Just wondering how much potential there is staying naturally aspirated, these engines do seem very tunable!

:D

Surely you would want need to twin turbo?

No I know it sounds daft but the twin turbo setups are making around 1000 horsepower crank, some closer to 1200 horses and man I want something I can drive.

The single turbo is a modern unit, precision twin scroll thing and available in multiple sizes and true bolt-on and 100% reversible, but I am still watching progress on it, I don't want to be one of the first.

Otherwise I am considering Pro Charger (Centri), again its a true bolt-on and I can dial it down to around 600BHP (6-8PSI) or as high as 800BHP with the kit.

Yes but £2000 is poor value, waiting for more options as for that £2000 I get a sound increase and around 50BHP. Whereas for £5000 I get 200-300BHP. So the value per brake horsepower is considerable.

These cars can push around 600BHP NA but you need headers, 5.2 cylinder heads and appropiate cams, more than super charger money, but would be very nice.

The new 5.2 Aluminator engine which Ford have might make an appearance in future Mustangs or Mach 1 (USA) and that is 570BHP crank.

I am holding back on the FI, simply because MY18 will be announced soon and it could bring a host of features to the table such as direct fuel injection, 10-speed auto, more power, magnetic ride, active exhaust. If that happens I shall remove parts from mine I wish to keep, sell it and buy the new one and puts the parts on that. Only a few more months to know which rumours are true and then I can decide to order or not and start the 9-12 month wait again. :D

Are they parallel or series setups? I was thinking 2 smaller series setup, theres just something about the spool up noises of those which sound soooooooo awesome :D

No idea, the headline figures put me off so never looked into them.

1000 horsepower would make me drive the car less, there is such a thing as too much. But it is impressive as a couple of owners are running the kits 900WHP on complete stock engine and transmission, though I feel at that power your just waiting for things to break.
