NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Followed one of these on the way home the other night, must have been the ecoboost model as it was as if it was completely silent over the sound of my bike.
I was hoping for some roaring V8 action :(

You need to follow me, I am always making a lot of V8 roaring, I feel like a big kid everytime I drive the thing! :D
I also do it when people behind seem to stop 1 inch of my rear bumper, after a few revs they seem to stop much further back, can only imagine it rattling their car to pieces. :D

Probably choking on all the un-burnt petrol they're smelling :p

I swear ive just had some dejavu :D

So all said and done, if going again would you do what you've done here, or go for a whipple instead?

Still need some proper seat time in a Whipple before I comment. But from my mate with the Whipple he is struggling with the power really bad now its colder and damp/wet all the time, it kicks loose even in 4th and 5th, you really need to be on it and talented behind the wheel to keep it on the black stuff.

But of course nothing is going to compare going wide open throttle in 3rd or 4th or 5th gear with around 800 horses on demand, its like have your guts ripped out and put in the rear seats the acceleration force is so brutal.

Too many pro's and cons of both, big NA power is always best but 550 horses will be my limit, any higher cost really big money, as much as a Whipple and you'd still only be at 600-650BHP.

Right now the car feels really quick, I've got my wheels to fit as well which will make it quicker again too, being so much lighter. :)

Fair comments especially regarding the power, a few of the stage 3+ gtr guys have all turned the power down now its gotten cold also, which having broken traction a few times myself in the last week maybe time to get the land rover out :D

Anything over 600BHP is troublesome work in winter months even for AWD/4WD too. A GTR with 650BHP cannot put power down in cold/wet either, the traction cuts in very hard, but they still have serious pace even then. :)

Plus you know, pzeros in cold ;)

Ive got MPSS now which are in another league.

The Pzero were terrible at anything under 15c, whereas the MPSS don't seem to drop off until temperatures are under 3c. :)

Yea, ill concede your inferior tyre choice is better in the cold ;) , however all 4 corners of mine have a good amount of tread left, so don't really wanna go replacing them for a bit of cold weather, not at 300 quid a corner.

Though may get all 4 done ready for the 1 mile runs with something soft, like r888s :)

You seem to have the same graph 3 times.

Would be good to see the other - not sure that's really 516hp with that flick up at the end though. Looks a solid 500 though
