NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Not normally a fan of aftermarket wheels, but I really dislike the stock ones on the Mustang. These are a great replacement.

Thanks, I do like the stockers though, but people do seem to eye ball these a lot all saying the same the design is really very special.

Anyway its time to line lock those rears! :D

Looks superb! I think the colour looks excellent to be honest.

Yeah man just took some more photos they seem to change colour vastly depending on lighting, in the petrol station the colour was spot on, maybe darkened as I went out for a real blast to bed the rears in, its so cold here that even after some donuts, line lock and hoonigan driving they were still barely warm, still they seem to be gripping better now and wow at the performance difference, feels more impactful that the performance I gained from the first canned SCT map I tried on the car, just screams and turn in is so sharp. Can see why they through a load of rubber at the front-end of Shelby, chassis seems to love it.

Hi there

OK drove home, some points and something Stevec complained about:
- Tyre roar, more pronounced from rear, must be the lower profile, though it got better after some miles no doubt due to these part worn tyres being a bit hard, did a few donuts, line lock and hoonigan driving, still hardly any heat in them as its just too cold out. But tyre/road noise in rear is a little more pronounced!
- Acceleration, WOW, the difference seems greater than the first canned remap I tried from SCT.
- Agility and response, car changes direct much better, feels like 100kg has gone from the front-end. Dampers seem to be controlling body movement with incredible response, definitely need to get some two-piece disc on her.
- Rear tyre sensors are refusing to work, but I am putting that down to having one of the old wheels in the boot, so computer is probably losing plot over detecting 3 sensors in the back, or I at least hope so.

Anyway sorry guys, but could not resist, some more pictures: :D :D :D

Colour is spot on in that lighting or the fact a little brake dust has developed from my drive tonight, loved it, so much more agility and acceleration, far more pronounced than I expected.

Definetely gotta sort some two-piece disc as that will shed around another 10kg of un-sprung mass, car seems to really benefit from it, no doubt because its a porker to start. Means I can remove the stock near new items and when it comes time to sell or trade in put the stock items and wheels back on and transfer wheels and lighter brake disc to MY18 car. :)

Lol.

Woohoo!

Must admit I'm still disappointed how few I see up here. There was one that used to park at the Aston dealership near my old office from time to time but that's pretty much the only regular I see. Granted where my new office is I'm lucky to see something that could pass an MOT...

I think they are all hiding due to winter, never see any others on my travels though I know of at least another six in the Stoke-on-Trent area, but they just do not seem to be driven, garage queens.

Bit of an odd choice for a garage queen in my eyes. It's something that begs to be out on the road daily. Not getting one was probably the right decision for me giving the area my office is in. However saying that, parking the 6 series there isn't exactly comforting.

The funny thing is some of the people buying these are adding them to real nice collections, one guy on the Mustang forum has it with a 991 GT3 and a Hurracan, so some real upper class company. Think he has a Shelby GT 350 on the way too and a Focus RS.

Some people use them as daily's and for others they are being added to rather nice collections with other cars.

It does seem odd to me what people will buy and not drive, but hey, it's their money, not mine. I just drive the nuts off everything I buy, and still keep them in pristine condition. I fail to see the point in owning it if I leave it in the garage every day.

Good man! That's very much the attitude I have. Just don't quite have your wallet! :D
