Something a little different. :D

Unfortunately my iPhone seems unable to pickup the colour correctly, so shall take some more images tonight with a proper camera, but in the flesh they look awesome.

Anyone who has seen a Porsche Hybrid or the 918 Spyder will understand as this is Porsche Acid Green colour, had to get it done professionally as the colour is a three stage process. Though I could have got colours like RS Green or Kawasaki Green in a tin, I wanted something different and closer to yellow without being yellow. :D

they look nice, do you have a recent photo of your Mustang............what power is it now/ mileage etc ?

Go back a couple of pages:

Dirty, temporary stock wheels with no spacers.

New wheels and painted calipers will be fitted once I am back from Asia in a couple of weeks, at which point I shall take some pictures.

Car is nearly at 10k miles now, just over a year old and is 500HP NA, manage to dust off 0-100 in 9s, so she is moving quite nicely for a big girl with a stick. No fancy pants PDK/Auto here. :D

Just 1000+ horses between the pair and the BMW makes the Mustang look small, though the M5 is a nice car, my god does the Mustang show it up in the looks department, maybe I am bias but these Mustangs are so damn good looking.

..

you're right there, the BMW looks like a boring 4 door saloon.............i prefer the 2008 Mustang but yours looks great too.............. to be honest the Mustang here in the U.K is the same as the old Ford Capri, it's very similar indeed, it was God damned fast.............but it's amazing to think it was only about 160hp, because back then 0-60 in 8.5 seconds WAS VERY FAST :D .............i aint kidding, it was damned quick

How very...Panamera!

Where I got the idea from!
When I was fortunate to be test driving the entire Porsche range at their factory test circuit a few weeks back in Germany I spotted the acid green brakes on a grey Panamera and though, damn I like those, now I have them. :D

They really aren't. That price is for 4 calipers by the time you account for the independent Handbrake calipers, disc bells, discs, pads, Handbrake cables, mounting brackets and braided lines.

In consider that more than reasonable, the Cosworth AP racing 6 pot kit for an Impreza my dad has fitted is £2500 retail

This good quality brakes cost money, the Alcon setup on my M3 retails at around £5500-£6500 for the complete front and rear kit. AP, Alcon, Brembo and Wilwood are fantastic names in brakes, with performance to match. They also last so in the end the premium pays for itself as the disc last twice as long as say a set of Girodisc who make good cheaper solutions, they just don't last as long.

yes that's massive HP, even the Dodge Demon cant do that (9.65 at more than 140 mph.....say 143)

in fact, the one that was beaten is roughly the Demon, so that Mustang must be well over 1000 hp .............. at a guess....yes it's 1100 hp
