How does your car compare to a stock one, in say 0-60 and 0-100? You've done a lot of mods to it.

0-60 stock is 4.8s, now is still about the same but 4.3s would be possible with a good launch. 0-100 things have improved, stock is around 11s, now it is around 9s. :)

My mate is supercharged and 800HP, his 0-60 is still around 4.5s, but his 0-100mph is now around 6.8s, once you've got traction they fly. :)
Or another way of looking at it my 60-100mph is around 4.5s and my mates 800HP is around 2.5s, in short mine is quick, his is bonkers. :D

I would imagine that does feel quite bonkers, doing 0-100 in the same time my car does 0-60 :D

Your Mustang really does look great now.

0-60 feels nothing special, 60-160mph feels freaking totally insane though. :D

0-60 is AWD all day long. Lets just say an R8 V10 which is a freaking fast car, like 60 in sub 3s, on a 60-130 dash the R8 could not keep up and the V10 R8 is one bloody quick car. But once 800HP is gripping is just insane, properly turns your stomach over. :D

I live dipping into this thread for some car porn.

IMO the latest wheels look much better than those in the previous set of pics. Wheel/tyre ratio looks much more balanced now, and I loathe a near mismatch in alloy colour. The new set looks exact.

All a bit tasteful for a Mustang though. Needs some white racing stripes!

Very happy with how the car is looking, rides beautiful on square setup also. Unfortunately the new rear disc seemed to be warped, getting judder from the rear, driven a few miles in case it was disc/pad newness but still seems there.

So going to measure for run out tomorrow fingers crossed and if it exist try rotating disc on hubs and if by somehow they are warped from new will have to go back.

Hello!

It's finally happened, got my promotion and now looking to reward myself with a mustang!

In my heart I have the following:

GT (obvs) Fastback
Tripple Yellow
SatNav/Sound Upgrade
Climate Seats Upgrade
Rear Sensor Upgrade
Standard Wheels (so Custom Pack is a no go for me as prefer the standard wheels over custom back)
Black Stripes

Depending on money and deal they offer I might have to pull a few things back, first would be to go Grabber Blue (although i still debate between the 2 colours daily). I am seeing things about a ShadowPack edition but struggling to see anything on fords website or clear information of what exactly the shadowpack means as some of the google results are about USA models. Any idea Gibbo?

/nvm

Seems i am an idiot:

https://www.ford.co.uk/cars/mustang/models-specs/shadow-edition#

So if i've read that right the Shadow Edition is my "in my heart" build!

They won't offer a deal. If ordering new you will be paying retail. Lucky to find any discount at all even on cars in stock.

The spec you put is exactly what I traded in a week ago.

There are a few kicking around 2nd hand that will save a big over new. Mine was 1 year old and I got £31k for it. New cost on it would now be nearly £41k and I assume they will sell it around the £35k mark. May be a better option unless you want the new PCP deals and lower tax bracket and don't mind the 6+ month wait.

Hey, my dealer suggested the opposite, but we shall see - i can still do retail price, and wait is not an issue.

You should realise I think after July order books for MY18 open, so you should go check out the facelift before buying the current car, just in case you prefer the facelift as it looks different some prefer, some do not, but power, handling and technology wise the facelift is a big step on compared to current car. Though it will probably be circa 45k with nice options, still crushes any other car for the money though!

Exactly same as another guy got for his from Ford, 31k after 18 months, not bad for 18 months ownership, 16,000 miles and to only loose 4k in depreciation, if he'd sold privately he may have lost less or nothing. :)
