NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

if you go for darker wheels then that chrome window trim will have to be changed out for it to work imho.

I like that lip type spoiler though, its subtle. :)

At Sytner select up in Wakefield, they have one here fully loaded, 5L V8, £38k. Less than 1k on the clock.

38k and its second hand? You could probably get them down to 34-35k because it is afterall a used car, it really should not be above list. Interesting to see if it sells......

The chrome trim is not my worry, it is easily removed with a wrap for £100 and the chrome badges I can buy black versions from Ford.

Hard decision is wheel colour, get that wrong and its £400 to get them re-painted, right now firm favourites are graphite black and black chrome, followed by gunmetal and then gloss/piano black.

Spoiler looks awesome, that rear 3/4 shot! :o

Deffo need black wheels on it, ignore what the OcUK black wheel police say, it can look awesome on the right car!

You definitely got the right car for the look! :D

His argument is that there is a year's waiting list, but either way, even that wasn't the most expensive car on the lot, there was a £115k Lambo. Feel very out of place driving in with my Yaris.

I was hoping in the future when I get a remap I could remove the insert. It says 10hp gain and 35hp with a tune, am I not likely to get that ?

MW

With a tune yes, expect 450BHP, being proven time and time again WITH A TUNE.

With no tune any gain is luck at best, you might get 5-10BHP but the general consensus is exhaust and air intakes do little to nothing without a tune on this car. :)

Hi there

I took my decent camera into work as knew it was going to be sunny, unfortunately the clean car was not so clean due to salt from the road, but still I grabbed some photos of the car as it stands now. :)

Quite a change yet subtle from the stock car, the Steeda front splitter, RTR side/rear splitters and Shelby 350 track pack spoiler will finish it off. Then just deciding on what wheels in coming months and maybe a de-chrome. :)

Personally, I'm especially glad to see you've gotten rid of the front plates completely, couldn't help but worry about the ruined aerodynamics every time I noticed that a leading edge of your otherwise perfect vehicle was literally a square.

Did I forget to put them back on, ooops. ;)

Noooo...

Your mate with the yellow one has the right idea about front plate. Close as possible to an actual flat panel of the car.

The way you have it, the number plate simply destabilises the air before it hits the rest of your car's aerodynamic features which are what should be hitting the air first. Could even be reducing or even greatly increasing air pressure into the radiator with the waves it's creating.

Anyway it's not really an issue until you're hitting crazy speeds. And even then it's not really an issue unless you're OCD.

Don't worry the plate has stayed of the car, its in the boot just in case an officer of the law takes offence. ;)

Hi there

Ford announced new pricing today, a further £500 increase on all models, making my spec now £37,385, a £2000 increase from the price I paid.

Though now you do get extra for your money as all cars ordered from this month onwards come with SYNC 3 infotainment system. :)
