NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

With a tune yes, expect 450BHP, being proven time and time again WITH A TUNE.

With no tune any gain is luck at best, you might get 5-10BHP but the general consensus is exhaust and air intakes do little to nothing without a tune on this car. :)

That's what I was expecting.

Apparently the filter will get drowned out by the Borla exhaust anyway :)

Looks like not all Mustang owners / test drivers are being careful....

Right outside a Ford Service/Dealership, I really do hope that was not a car being driven a bit to hard or without due care and attention by a Ford service/technician. Though does just look an unfortunate case of Mustang pulled out and truck wiped it out. :(

I drove past that dealer earlier this morning - before this happened - and saw the very car - I believe it's their demo. I can't quite imagine how it happened looking at the way around that it is.

This is the spot: google.co.uk (well, slightly right of the marker as Google won't let me place it properly - opposite Square Hill between Haynes Trucks and Transit).

The lorry is facing west, but the Mustang is in a strange position - you can't turn right from Square Hill, so it can only be whilst leaving the Texaco garage. I don't think it could be a result of over exuberance, just crap judgement on the Mustang driver's behalf assuming all lights were adhered to.

Saw a new V8 Mustang in Aberdeen yesterday, same colour as yours Gibbo - it also had an intake on the bonnet, not sure if it was cosmetic or functional!

Sure it was a new one? If so I am surprised people are messing with the bonnet as the stock item is really nice with great lines and aggression without being over the top. :)

I am still yet to see one on the roads. :(

Discovered this on facebook last night:

Some one snapped a photo of me whilst driving to work and posted it on FB, keep finding lots of images and videos of my car on various pages on facebook haha. :D

Have to say its got real presence on the road, I think dark wheels could make it look a little to menacing maybe. ;)

Lovely looking car Gibbo. I've never been much of a Mustang fan but that looks stunning.

Oh, and definitely go for gun metal rims.

A friend had some darkish bronze rims on his grey car (FQ400) and it looked fantastic.

Definitely worth photoshopping a few ideas.

Funny you mention bronze, I got a feeling some people will call me crazy but think I am going with these:

P.S. I won't be doing red lug nuts though, just stick with black or chrome, the colour is bronze burst by the way, believe it is black but full of bronze metallic.
P.S.1. Or might just play it safe and get the above wheel in silver or gloss graphite (gloss dark grey).

I lost the back this morning on a roundabout :(

It was cold and damp, just left my house and was doing no more than 20mph and the back slide out. Luckily there was no one else near me as I slide into the outside lane and then back in when I tried to correct it.

Now I'm trying to work out how it happened.

Please tell me you did not crash? Don't be the fourth one this week to bin it. :(

Seriously its 0-7c, its wet/damp, your on a tyre known to have issues in cold temperatures and wet, BE CAREFUL!

With the amount being crashed, the cheap insurance won't last.

My advice get some advance track driving activity and skid control and until then if its wet, put the car in wet mode and treat throttle and steering inputs gently and smoothly. This is a powerful RWD car, respect it otherwise it will bite you. The traction systems on this car are advanced but allow a lot of slip even in normal mode. Wet mode is the equivalent to say a BMW with DSC on, Normal is equal to track / MDM mode so in the default mode the car will move around. In sport or race mode it can get very wild especially in the wet and can spin even with such modes enabled.

If money is no object get some great wet summer tyres on the stock wheels like F1AS2/3, Pilot Sport 4, Conti 5P/6P, Rainsport 3 and make them your winter set wheels/tyres. Then buy some nice shiny wheels and fit MPSS. :)
