Need £1100 Max Spec

Unravel all the cables in line out of the case, run the main 24 ATX connector and the 8 pin for cpu power to the board. The 8 Pin cpu power has the pink cap on, remove this. You can run the cable hopefully behind the board and hopefully out the cutout.

Edit: Also unravel the case connectors and these will plug into the motherboard to aloow led activity status and power and reset switches, bst bet is to refer to the motherboard manual.

Right.

Pass all the psu cables out the back of the case through the bottom.

Bring the 4+4pin back into the top corner and plug into near the CPU.

Take the top fan cable and pass it through this hole to connect behind the motherboard tray.

Connect the 20+4 pin into the motherboard.

Add a SATA power to the drives.

Attach SATA data cables from motherboard to the drives.

Take the front panel connectors and connect them to the motherboard, usb into the motherboard.

HD audio into the motherboard.

Connect the front fan too.

lol i left them on because i would know what the ports are for, taken them off now though.

ok just connected the 24 pin and the 8pin

also does it matter if i use the cables that came with the mobo? they say, designed for sata3 6gb/s. if its ok, should i plug my HDD and dvd drive into the 6gb/s ports on mobo or the normal ones? thanks

i done the:

24pin
8pin
top fan power
all sata power and data cables
done the cooler fan to mobo

what are these funny coloured wires? (and a sata cable) coming from the case, where do i plug those?

thankss

You have one there for USB (grey thick cable) goes into the board along the bottom.

You have one labeled HD audio (it also has AC'97) plug the HD end into the motherboard and leave the other end dangling.

You then have,

POWER SW
RESET SW
PWR LED
HDD LED

These four go into the bottom right corner of the motherboard, doesnt really matter which way around the SW connectors go, if the LED on the case fail to light up then just turn the connectors around 180degrees.

The thick red cable is for ESATA, plug this into a SATA port.

thanks stulid, there is another little header or something which just has 3 pins and says PLED, shall i plug PLED wires into there or in the same header as where plugged the others? thanks

Nice one Storm45 this case is even better than my CM HAF 212 Plus where my i7 920 go into this case. (for my daughter to have it) as she only use it for her school work as it will be on stock speed only.

I wish I had that case and that board (love this board) I think I made a mistake of purchase Gigabyte Z68-UD4-B3 as many say this board is a rip off for less features that I didn't aware of. Lesson is learned myself.

Good luck with your new pc ! Happy sandybridge !

Oh by the way, when I first time set up PC system, I switch power on, nothing was started, I start to panic and didn't aware I had to use reset button first to fire it up! :) Just in case if your power isn't start up.
