Need a new car....

Never buy a car without driving it, even in an auction you'll get to roll it back and forward / hear it running.

Didn't see the xenon's on 325, still looks crap for the money imo

It's not wise its essential. Nobody sane buys a £5k 7 year old second hand car without a test drive.

Pretty much what I thought really. Will see if I can get over there tomorrow!

and here it is:

Drove this home from Ipswich yesterday, 194 miles each way :D

Looks nice. Has it got adaptive cruise control?

It's got the ACC grille fitted, but Ford seem to occasionally fit these even if the car doesn't have ACC.

Yes, it has adaptive cruise control :D but not had the chance to test it yet. The idea is quite strange and will need to do some reading up on it first.

Checked the manual so I know what I'm looking for and there is nothing there, would seem I have no ACC. To be honest though, it doesn't matter. The fact I have CC is enough for me - I can also change to a badgeless grill if I decide too!

Very nice love the colour, wheels are a bit boring any plans to change them or are you happy with them

Not really!

Drive 195 miles home in it yesterday and quite happy with them. I didn't realise they were as big as they were (235/45/17) but can't see it being too much of an issue.

My first job will be to replace the exhausts with 3.5" Inch Inlet Oval Universal Backbox Stainless Exhaust Single Perforated Tip as the stock ones don't give an exhaust note!

If you've got ACC you'll have another little rocker button on the side of the left-hand cruise control buttons on the steering wheel.

Surprised they are 17's if I had to guess I would have said 16's

Depends on what you prefer, if you want comfort then leave it as is, they dont look ugly or anything just that Ford do some nice looking OEM wheels

I did look but there isn't another rocker switch.

Checked them while filling up earlier, deff 17" and a nice ride too!

The only thing I'd seriously consider adding is a genuine rear spoiler. I think these really tidy up the back of the car and make the bit around the high level brake light a bit less awkward.

haha - funny you should mention that, I've just added on to my ebay watch list :D

I'm also looking to change the rear bumper to look like a Titanium X Sport so I can replace the stock exhausts to get a better exhaust note :D

Ha, how did we get from 1.6 Zafiras to a 2.5T Mondeo Titanium!

After driving the 1.6 I found it underpowered and when you think of that with 5 people in, it'd do my head in.

I discussed with my wife the options and we decided that so long as you can get 5 people comfortably in the car, a 5 seater will be fine.

We test drove a Mondeo estate 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Not wanting to get another diesel, I decided petrol would be better. I didn't want any potential DPF issues and we all know the gov now hates diesels so we've got a rough idea where its going. This left me looking for a petrol which would take 5 people and still be great to drive.

Found this and spent a day driving to check it out. Took it home the same day :D

Good choice. Million times better than a Zafira!
