I'd give it a couple of week or so until the modders sort it out.

They made a big difference to handling in Shift 1.

from the previews ive seen so far of the elite mode it still suffers the same wobbly sliding mess that Shift 1 did with a wheel

what preview that one guy who did all the TDU2 previews? he had a dodgy looking setup on those vids aswell go watch them, i think he aklways uses the default settings or something...

From videos that are not publicly available, one of my rfactor mod teams test drivers is also a test driver for EA on Shift 2.

With regards to this game I want the nice mix that Dirt 2 has. I like car games like shift to be more arcade bias with a bit if sim thrown into the mix. Essentially the game has to support wheels well. With ocuk knocking them out for £199 the G27 is a must for these games!!

I don't have much of a social life atm, but I can safely say I'd have none whatsoever with that kind of setup for racing / driving games

Yeah moody they have the same d box rig at the codemasters testing office. It manages to pull 3 G's through you!!! They are just to expensive @ £9000..although at half that price I would buy one!!!

That vid doesnt look like shift 2 helmet cam, it looks like shift 1.. unless incar and helmet cam are different views now. Helmet cam shows part of the viser, no viser, no helmet cam, no shift 2... I may be mistaken though!!

Seems the terrible central pivot oversteering is still in the game, but 'Elite Mode' shown in the second video looks very promising and seems to eradicate it.

the pre order cars werent in it so i guess you can only have them with the limited edition

I honestly don't know what the hell people are on about with "central pivot issue."

Maybe it just looks exaggerated due to the cam being quite static in the centre.

quite a lot of vids from the 360 version on youtube now

acording to the devs the pc version has better graphics where as the console has pretty much the same graphics as shift 1.

im pretty sure every decent res video on youtube is from a console version
