Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed

If it's a practise day / time trial event the screens are taken from, rather than a race, then that might explain why the crowd, banners, etc are missing ?

turns out the ingame AA is crap and if you force supersampling AA with nvidia driver inspector with 4x it looks like this :eek:

which i think everyone agrees looks better than shift1 and much better than the regular ingame AA that nearly every other screenshot ive saw uses
First ingame settings select No AA.
Then make a profile for the game in nv inspector. Goggle for the utility if you don`t have it.
In antialiasing compatibility put 0x000010C1
In antialiasing mode use Override any application setting
In aa settings use 2x or more multisampling AA.
In trasparency AA use 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling or more

lol looked on metacritic for any early user reviews. Found 2 and one of them was by some idiot who posted this;

Shift 2 is not a enjoyable game, It's far like race simulator, which means if you made some mistake in the game to get behind other cars, you better restart that race, unlike other light racing games like hot pursuit. What I really angry about this game was I got spin by opponent car in first race, got 5th/6, and I... you knows. I don't want to torture myself by playing like this - run, say **** and restart. I dropped difficulty to easy and driving skill to novice, then shift 2 provides many assist features like auto brake, but I feel dumb whenever I have nothing to do but push forward always and push left and right sometimes I needed to. What I feel bad too was auto-moving racer point of view. I can't explain this exactly, but I feel it I'm not one who race but someone does. If you want something 'REAL' races, go for it. but if you need something to enjoy, find other way rather than shift 2. It's torture.'
