After following a guide I've got it running fine on a single card, 70fps on most tracks, down to 40 in the dark sometimes. Now to sort out the handling of the cars, utter tosh atm
Have you got a link to the guide you used?

Made the changes myself & went from 25-35 fps to a steady 60, running a single 5770 everything on High. Big difference right away![]()
Watching videos it seems to me the cars still do the stupid pivot in the middle thing, always launching the rear end sideways even if you're just trying a gentle 'lane change' on a straight.
I suspect people who didn't like Shift 1, won't like Shift 2 either.
Thats a real shame, the last game had promise and I loved the visceral in car cam but the handling model was a joke. I dont mind arcadey but like you say this was just broken.
Cant believe they havent fixed it, you'd think with a driving game you'd start with getting the handling right and building everything around that.
Seems much like Test Drive Unlimited 2 in that they tried to move forward without addressing any of the issues from the first game.
maybe listen to people who have played it insteasd of watched videos?
that feeling is still there but its much betetr than Shift 1. If you get the right settings for the wheel its pretty much eliminated
hmm strange then as i get no improvement at all, the only difference is zero AA![]()
Here's mine. Still tweakingAnyone using xbox controller ?
Can you please post your settings
Here's mine. Still tweaking
Try these as a starting point
Edit: I set my cars up with full understeer in 'Quick Tuning' and lower the tyre pressures to about 30
I think this game is totally made for steering wheels, when I first installed it I tried with xbox joypad and I could tell straight away it sucks with joypad and with steering wheel it feels amazing.
I dont know how anyone could play a game like this with a joypad. Some car games are made for joypads, some car games for steering wheels, some can use both and still feel good, imo this game can only be played with steering wheel.
