Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed

I just applied that fix guide and gotta say Ive gone from running low-medium to high and its runs smooooooooooooooooth on my 5750 :) Just need to play with the wheel settings now and I'll be sorted :D

cool! glad that it helped! found it by accident while at college looking for AA fixes.. ;)

so again back to my "problem" anyone got any ideas about "slow motion" in replays with wheel? pedals/turning/buttons etc do nothing and again there's no way to remap it ?!

Make sure you disable CCC AA as it kills the game for me if you get unplayable frame rates. Disable I get a steady 55 but when enabled in CCC i get 20 ish which is unplayable.

I'm getting the messed up skies and dark cars, also getting white bright glowing blobs that are supposed to be cars and the aura off them is so bad I can hardly see the track. I can't find smooth vision anywhere on my 11.3s. Just as I start to enjoy the game it glitches out.

Don't worry about it. Just turn off aa in CCC and the glitches should disappear.

Btw AutoLog is evil, in a good way :p

ive downloaded that minmal mod and holy crap it makes this game feel amazing. I would now say it feels better than driving on Forza and the visuals are stunning.

I do have one issue it feels like my FF is changing evrey race. One race its very stiff and then next its very floaty and light.

What gives?

ahh OK, I thought It was me imagining the wheel was changing FFB on its own.

I am now messing around with this setup, seems ok at the moment. I didnt download and use his config tho, just using his tips to set the wheel up.

I had to do something as the FFB was to stiff and I could not catch the oversteer, driving my BMW was a nightmare.

ESC-ESC sort of turns the FFB back on?! i mean you can have one race after you start the game with working FFB.. after that it will be "DEAD" so all you have to do is hit ESC and then again ESC to get back on the track.. you'll feel your wheel stiffen up.. :/ another bug..

The minimod does make a big difference but it's still a world away from Forza.

I'm enjoying it much more than the first game though, whilst the physics still feel a bit strange (even with the minimod they aren't quite right), they are improved over the first game, and with a wheel in a well set-up car the game can give a very satisfying experience.

I'm loving my Corolla AE86 at the moment, all upgrades done apart from engine swap and works conversion, and it just feels superb, so brilliantly balanced
