Welcome back wedge
Try as I might, I can't even get my last laptime anymore, let alone lower.
Is the best laptime only possible on the second or later lap or can it be done on the first lap, ie, you guys who have under 54 seconds. What I mean is, since you have to brake down to 2nd or 3rd as you arrive at the point (the tight righthand hairpin) where the time attack is about to start for the second lap, there's no extra speed momentum, so it's exactly the same speed as starting the first lap, is that right?
Thanks for confirmation of that Nikaz.
Regarding that thing we talked about on where we don't brake, I can get it fairly decent now. But what I wanted to ask is, I've seen videos of people in other cars where they're fully down on the gas a bit later into the redline before coming off and then on it again. For me to get the car to negotiate the turns, I have to pretty much coast (I'm in 5th) from the very moment I hit the brow before it goes downhill. Just wnated to know if you're doing the same, or if you're foot down till later? If I leave it a moment later before coming off the gas, there's no way the car makes it.
Ahh i give up, cant quite reach the 52's![]()
Welcome Alex,I would like to start participating in this soon, I recently purchased shift. Can I ask what peripherals you fast guys are using? Also, are you running any special settings, as the default handling model seems all oversteer, it's mad?
I don't know which turn it is but i am having serious problem with the car bouncing of the small hump and looses grip all the gather and crash straight into the side wall.
Give me a few minutes & I'll post em up.Nikaz if you don't mind can you post your settings please.
