Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

I've heard that before!

I know, im trying to resist :p

Jesus, I am 5 seconds off now and only shaving off tenths.

Get a little oversteer going on, and experiment with gearbox ratio's This is what i did, from stock lap which was 1.16ish.

First corner is really tuff i think, try not to overshoot it, flatout for next 2 corners sweeping right then left, (you should be in top gear exiting 3rd corner) entry to 4th corner is key, drop down a gear on approach (foot off throttle, no brakes) then nail it through the corner.

Something to be going on with, hope it helps.

ps. i only use brake at 1st corner, the corner before the long striaght, and the chicane b4 start, finish, the rest is dropping down a gear or two, manual gearbox of coarse.

I'm just not feeling this car at all...my only real effort has been a 1.16. I dont think I can see myself getting better...I think I will skip this car and track for this week and wait for something better...I've tuned it as best I can, it does drive well but the long straight and the last two turns just muck it up for me...

understeer is bad, slowly getting the idea about tuning...

last go for tonight.

either going to get a 360 controller or bite the bullet and get a G25...

can anybody with a G25 help justify the price to me..?

I bought the Logitech driving force EX steering wheel, because i could not justify over £100 for the G25, got it for £28.50 delivered.

Ive never owned a wheel, and must say for the price im really pleased, makes driving games more fun. granted im sure its no where near as good as the G25, but if you want to dabble in a wheel, you cant go far wrong. logitech sell this wheel for £70 ish.

pm if you want to know where to buy.

Yes if you only use it for shift then the force ex is great...if you want to drive on GTR evolution, grid, rfactor etc then invest in a G25...my wife drives in grid using a saitek r660 and she loves it....i cant use it though as it feels 2nd class to me!

Think I shall invest in a wheel come pay day...but should I go for the G25 or something slightly cheaper? that's my only gripe...when it comes to peripherals I cannot justify paying over the odds...but a GPU or CPU or Mobo are a different kettle of fish :D

Depends if you do a lot of pc driving games...if you do then the G25 is the way to go...if its only for shift then get something a lot cheaper...its all about the driving experience with the G25!

I've decided i'm going to compromise, instead of getting the G25, i'm stumping for either the Logitech Driving force pro or the Driving force GT, almost as good as the G25 but about £50/£60 cheaper

Dam silly slow Fwd car . I doubt anyone will do under 1.10 tbh . Its just to slow... maybe mid 1.10 . Cant belive i spent a small fortune on it and its only 370 bhp .. grrr
