I tried to teach myself how to tune last night, after 3 hours I had succeeded in turning my Focus into a steamroller, except slower.

This combo of car n' track is proving a real challenge for me. Not done any handling tuning yet, still trying to figure out the ideal gearing first before tinkering any further. At the moment the front is just 'dragging' the rear-end around like a ballast penalty LOL.

had another quick ten minutes and got my time down to 1.17.890 so i won't bother with a screenie ;)

Need some tuning advice / tips though if anyone is offering, all i can do is guess randomly lol

This one is tough, noway I can get in the 1.12's let alone 1.11's.

Tried allsorts of tuning and that' my best so far. I might have a 1.13 in me, but that's about it.
 
Dammit why has fraps stopped working did a 1:12.230 and fraps is not working correctly, not that it matters much as some people are obviously quicker with this than me cant get my head around a FWD car hate em :mad:

I just set the car almost as stiff as possible with a bit of negative camber, after that just keep racing in it and fiddling with the gears, i am topping out about 100m before i have to brake on the huge straight

Using NOS as a KERRs button is the only way I can crack 1.14 and that was only just.

I have also set the car as stiff as possible, it helps me get lower times, but some of you guys are 2 seconds quicker and I just can't see how I can ever gain 2 seconds.
 
nikaz, what did you use to record your lap? (BMW round)

I have fraps but as soon as i start recording the graphics decrease and the game stutters a little, very anoying :(

Any recomendations?

I use fraps mate, It does stutter somewhat. I've an E8600 & 4870x2 by the way.

Give xfire a go & let me know how you get on please, I"m interested myself.

Pps. i have 8500 + GTX 260's in SLi, should be enough for it not to stutter
