your not kidding -that is a horrible car to drive!!! So bad on the brakes!!!!! very tail happy. Doesn't want to turn in at all and the shicane around turns 5 and 6 or so is a nightmare - very tight.
Fun isn't it.
To drive this car requires a lot of steering/throttle control.
Firstly turn on ABS brakes & Traction Control - Low
Approach corner
Always brake from high speeds in a straight line.
Let off the brake prior to turn in.
Brake early at first (beginning of red) gradually braking later & later until you reach the cars limit for that corners turn in.
Mid Corner
Try to HOLD a throttle position appropriate for the corner. DON'T shear the throttle on/off. You'll have very little to no control of the rear end.
Mid/Exit corner
If you need the rear end to step out a bit (oversteer) apply a LITTLE throttle. To counter too much oversteer DON'T get off the gas, counter steer whilst holding/feathering the throttle.
Exit corner
Apply the throttle gradually only applying full throttle when the car is stable & pointing in the right direction Taking into account your next braking point
IMPORTANT: STAY OFF THE CURBS. Give them a wide berth at first
That chicane can be treated in a similar fashion to the first section at the Tokyo Club (Week 6) if you adopted my RS4
settings. Use the loose rear end to power oversteer.
