Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

Me had no time either, what with L4D2 being launched :D

Will try and get some laps in before Sunday, but i siad that last week :( (although i did do about 4 laps before giving it up as i bad job)

Just done a few runs to check sector 2 times
Please take into account I'm not in the groove yet this evening but late 29's for sector 2. I'm guessing but on my 1.25.4 lap I reckon a low 29. But I can't be sure. Another little annoyance with Shift, if it showed your best sector times post race as well as your best lap would be helpful.

Forza TT thread - I had a quick skim through inam22 and the OP is on week 3 last updated 09 Nov but the last few pages post times for RS200 at Road Atlanta (Week 4?). Does the winner (or runner up) post the next car/track selection as a post rather than e-mailing the OP?

Also is it possible to snap shot on X360 or is it a case of camera shot ala yourself?

I don't think so there is any other options to capture screen shot aprat from camera on xbox360 which is really a pain in the back side.

Think the hairpin is where i am loosing time but i am so smooth around it everywhere else is flat out hell for leather style :(

Morning. If your being smooth round the hairpin you'll not be losing 3 secs there. You've already said your sector one time is similar to mine so it's not there either.
Are you cutting the corner where the speed bumps are? There's a fine line between getting a Warning or not at that corner. On approach get to the left hand side & drop to 3rd gear at the braking point. Now the tricky part. Turn in & WITH THE STEERING STRAIGHT floor it over the bumps. I find if your still turning whilst riding the speed bumps it's a bit hit & miss as to how the car will settle, 99% of the time losing traction and/or slamming the wall.
At first I suggest cutting the corner ignoring the warning. When you're comfortable with the line you need to take, gradually cut the corner less & less until you don't receive the warning. You can easy make a couple of secs here if your being cautious/conservative taking the corner avoiding the curbs.
Another corner you can make up time is the left hander after the mini straight (the one before the final right/left switch chicane.
A lot of luck (& skill:D) is required to achieve a low 26.
If you think it will help I'll do a vid of cutting the corners if you like
 
That corner my car is like it's on rails because the right front wheel is inside the rumble strip and every corner after is cool as

I might try and get a video up and show ya but without SLI i will have to ditch the quality :D

Check your second sector time against mine. somewhere around 29.8. This takes into account the hairpin
 
Well once again i dunno what you top guys are doing but no entry from me again . Im 5+ secs off as i was last week and after watching the vid im mplaying a different game as my car does not handle like the above .

I do find it strange that i can get within a sec when we have tuneable cars but when we have fixed cars im 5-7 secs away . So no time from me again and will be watching next weeks choice .
