Hey NIKAZ you better get a move on as i am getting better with changing my gears and downshifting

At 0230 in the morning I ain't moving nowhere I can tell you.
To be honest I thought the majority used manual gears, quite surprised at some of the lap times being posted using auto, quality stuff. Explains why I'm consistently in the top three as well if I am one of the few using manual.

Good to hear manual being adopted over auto. It'll help out in other driving games not just Shift e.g. Forza so well worth the time invested.

Next challenge will be throttle control with the Ford GT at the figure eight circuit LOL

I rekon i can take a second or more out of this time so long as i keep it from touching the walls every lap i will hit a least one and it slows me down

Are you using manual gears or still on auto.

Using manual now i takes a while to get used to it but it's much quicker

I did say there were areas that Nikaz could make up quite a bit of time on his 1:28. Just had to get them altogether on one lap.

Now I am going to be bold here and just for a second assume that this holds. I am off to South America for 6 weeks on Friday night so will not be able to compete anymore

As such, can I choose next weeks track and car and post up some lap times in advance? If so, can I get a vote on tuning or not as I believe some people miss it but others feel it levels the field.

I think you will more than likely be on top by the weekend as this is a hard car to get perfect corners everytime.

Exactly mine are all lame and i touched a few corner walls on the exit just because i have a disorder where i must go full throttle out of em

I know the feeling, 99% of my laps are like a game of pinball rather than a race. Can't stand street circuits tbh. I have to say that full respect to Nikaz, as there is no way in hell I can lap like he does. I actually feel guilty about posting my time, as I know it's not a clean lap but hell it's only a bit of fun. I'm not gonna be competing for 6-7 weeks so what the hell do I care any way.

I have just emailed Pete with an explanation of my time and my nomination of track and car for next week if it stands until Sunday night......
