Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

I will be doing it straight away Ill post my results although i don't have to many issues with the game to be honest just be nice to try the new online feature out and the new cars GT500 yee ha :D
 
I think BT are messing with my line, Gits :( getting 100KB\s

Got it installed and my car is no longer bouncing :) with all mods on but the car is slower than without the mods this officially sucks balls :mad:

Well the good thing with the new patch is it gets rid of the rolling start where you lose 5 seconds on the first lap. It means you can get 3 proper laps on this track:)
Anyways getting abit faster

Hi all,

Been trying to get a dcent lap time in but cant get more than a 2.26 :(

And thas with a 360 pad....

That vid of the mustang run was brilliant, mght have to get a steering wheel after christmas :D
 
any chance you can post your setup?

cause anytime a fiddle with it I loose time..

I went from 2.21 to 2.35 :( with no idea on how or why :S

Have you tried Nikaz setup as yet, at the moment i am playing with defualt setup so haven't made any changes as yet apart from upgrades.
 
2.18 on default??? Jesus!!

is that with a steering wheel?
and I didn't try Nikaz' setup cause I think he is using an xbox controller..

Anyways.. are we going to continue the championship??

I was thinking.. shall we allocate points this time for top8 or top10..
or is it just us 8 playing :( in which case top3 will suffice.

And PLEASEEE!!! can we play that long track which in the WORKS tier4 duel with the Zonda?

there are quite a few ppl playing it in the official thread.. 6.51 I think it was the record someone posted with a Works GTR

Shouldn't matter grs. It's tuning the car not the input device.
I'm upping a uTube vid of a 2.17.112 lap which uses the setting I previously posted. May help to see where I brake & show the lines I take. I've made it in bonnet view to make it clearer.

Yes. Season 2 will start next weekend and if everybody would like to put forward suggestions/changes they feel will improve this Championship please do.
One suggestion from me is to Start/Finish each week on Saturday 2pm.

The Nordschleife right? The reason it hasn't been selected in this Time Trial Championship is quite simply due to the length of the track. Shift in Time Attack mode allows a measly 5mins which doesn't even cover the first lap. Plus not everybody has the time to invest on such a challenging circuit.
Saying all that. Marine & myself were discussing this a few pages back. I proposed we have this challenge running in the background to the regular weekly events, maybe with it's own points table. Also to keep it fresh we could have a Tier 1,2,3, & 4 table. Use any car you like from each tier. What do you all think?

I will try to add a time each event but this time of year im lucky to get time to do a decent lap in some evenings.

A lap time is a lap time to add to the board right? ( even though i will probably be 11th all the time:D )

Default setup on this car is not too bad plenty of grip available from the start and by the way i am using xbox360 pad as well.I find Nikaz setting is very unforgiving, you really need smooth control on acceleration which abviously i haven't got.:).

EDIT: The dents are from lap 2, spanked it on first corner lol
