Need for Speed Time Trial Championship ** Season 2 ** (Multiplatform)

This is definitely the most challenging track for me so far. I thought Road America was tough with the bumps but this....

Somehow managed to get in the 20's just.

I got bored playing the same track over and over again.. that is why I gave another shoot at it..
tried the Audi R8, the one we are using this week.. gave me a 7.15
lots of downforce this car.
switched to GTR works.. gave me a a 7.05
then off to Masserati.. down to 6.55
and finally the zonda R, 6.51

has anyone noticed significance changes on default car setups after the patch?

I think the default tuning settings in some cases have moved a click to the right.
Pre patch you could select FAR right in downforce for example but when you exited settings and went back in, the settings had moved back one click left. The latest patch has cured that.

Excellent time Nikaz, i thought you were very quite this week so far.I didn't play this round for couple of days but manage to had a quick go today but it looks like that i have lost my touch, can't go below mid 1.20s now.

Nikaz did you watch the video of this lap i posted earlier if yes, where you think its possible for me to improve my time by taking different line or different approach to certain corner.

I'm faster than you (your vid) in the first sector.
On the opening long left undulating curve I fluctuate between two & three yellows on the rev meter.
Also, at the braking zone in the tunnel, brake hard, drop to 3rd gear (not 2nd), turn in hard running close to the wall. If you get this right on the exit of the tunnel you should see the racing line turn red at the top of the rise. Whilst airbourne change up to 4th.
Stay left without touching the dirt, follow the racing line.
You've got the next turn (the horrible left where two roads meet) pretty much the same as me, except I take it in 3rd. I don't think there's much in it though.
Now the next sequence of sweeping turns you've mastered. No matter what I try I cannot FULL throttle that sequence like your vid, especially the second quick right left. That's where I'm losing time to you & the 1:19's. What I will say though is when you turn left (the one with the bump) after the sequence, just before the bump drop to 3rd & floor it. You stay in 4th coming off the throttle. Dropping to 3rd gives you more power at the rear avoiding the front pushing on.
The snake sequence it's hard to tell who's quicker. I power slide round like you & don't use the handbrake unless I have to.
My splits
S1 - Low to Mid 25's
S2 - Low to Mid 48's
I can't be more precise than that I'm afraid. This is one combo you don't get a chance to check the splits

The fastest time on the needforspeed Shift Leaderboards for this combo is 00:52.630. I've got 10 secs to make up. Hopefully upgrades, NOS & some tuning will help minimise the deficit.
Now where to use NOS on this track

Quick question Nikaz, i thought we were not choosing NOS cars any more or that was just optional thing.

Well I prefer no NOS cars as do a few others. I won't select a NOS car for example but others can if they so wish.

I don't see NOS having a major benefit on this weeks combo. Being accurate/precise in the turns is paramount on this track. Only benefit I can see an advantage for NOS is in the climbs, but you're going to have to brake a lot earlier.

This course is very hectic, not much time to use nos before your breaking again. Definatley dont see the point in using it on this course.

Wow. Just checked the leaderboards, thats pretty impressive if i may say so myself:D Didnt expect that lap to be a record lol
Edit: how would i put my time up there?

To be honest I haven't a clue. Some of my times are on the leaderboard others not.
Check to see if your time is recorded in-game. Online > Leaderboard > Multiplayer > Lap Times. I think there at.
I'll go check myself anyway and report back.

After works upgrade i can't see NOS option anymore, can any one confrim please if they lost NOS option ofter works install.

Yeah i havent got the nos tank either, you lose it when upgrading to works.

Yeah, of course. Works cars don't have NOS. Worth remembering for future car selection.

NIKAZ: i presume we just got to be logged into ea, then they post the lap times up automatically:confused:

That makes sense, but this EA we're talking about.
