Tune your gears so you only use 4th through 6th.
Final Drive - One notch from far left
1st & 2nd - Far left
3rd, 4th & 5th - Far right
6th - One notch right of centre

I think this is primarily a 'Drift' car in Shift judging by the ease in which the car can switch direction.
 
Another improvement, got at least another half a second to come by getting a better drive up the hill and out of the corkscrew.

Edit: Definately a drift car but you can make it work round here. I'm sure with more suspension tuning I can make it corner better. Currently it drifts round every bend to get this time, very controlable though. Gonna go fiddle some more now.
 
[angry]This is a joke. I'm driving this track 95% perfectly and should be at least getting into the 1:37's or thereabouts if not lower, yet my timing is 1:43 every single time. I think I'll quit this one. Fed up with it, I don't get how my time can be over 10 seconds worse than everyone else when I'm holding the racing line well and booting it all the way [/angry]

Hey Merlin, don't give up! Why not post a vid on here, we'll see what we can suggest.
 
I've not done it in HD so I can get it posted faster. As I was saying, I think I'm holding the line quite well, not perfect obviously as there's a few mistakes and wobbly bits, and in fact, I have done it better but even then never scored a better time than this, it just never gets lower. If the best drivers here are getting early and mid 1:30's, doesn't my driving in this video justify a better time than I'm getting or am I really way off? I just want to be competitive and this is nowhere near, lol. I did the track in the porsche from last weeks contest and got 1:30 in that.

Yep i dislike this car too, just done two 5 minute sessions, and was bored to tears, see ya next Saturday ;) ... Good luck for this week lads.
