I'm not jealous honest. Lucky git.

Very nice dan, that looks awesome.
Now all they need to design is a lightweight helmet where the visor is the view of the track with surround sound & mic incorporated. There's enough bulk in a helmet already to incorporate all that surely.

Lol! The wife thinks I'm mental enough, if she saw me putting a helmet on I think it would be divorce time!

@ chronic86, poor performance, kept me away from my new chair for 90 desperate minutes. Still, top of the league!

Guys, in the absence of utajoker I'll select the alternate car.

Nissan 200SX (S14)

I'm sure utajoker will understand.

Nissan 200SX (S14) is giving me trouble with 2nd and 3rd gear, all revs, redlining, no acceleration. I have to skip from 1st to 4th.

That's not a bug, Merlin, that's just how the gears are - once the car is rolling 1st, 2nd and 3rd hardly get used anyway - however you tune the gears 3rd is almost useless when accelerating.

Nikaz - a tuning question for you. This car seems to 'sway' a lot all over the track, for example I am about to clip the grass so I steer left a little, I then seem to fly right over to the left and spend a few turns stabilising the car. What sort of things can I use to counteract this? I have tried messing around with the rollbar settings, spring settings, camber etc but I can't seem to tame it :(

Anyway, first time for me:

Oh right. Because I thought it was the same problem nikaz was describing with the other car. I get up to 43mph in 1st, then only up to 46 in 2nd and up to 48 in 3rd. It's meant to be like that is it, only 2 or 3mph faster per gear?

inam22, what is the top speed you're hitting? I've been around this track a good 50 times now and am doing it pretty well, as fast as the car will go and holding the racing line pretty accurately, yet my time never goes below 1:42, it's really frustrating. I'm not expecting to get 1: 32 yet but I think my driving has been good enough to get into the 1:30's. Top speed of the car is over 146mph but I can never get above 126mph because there's not enough time or else the car doesn't accelerate quick enough, but I'm about to quit I think unless i can sort it out. 2nd and 3rd gear are non existent, I don't know if that's the problem :(

Let me have a quick go, will come back to you.

I am hitting 132mph max but the difference in speed could be down to different gear settings though.

Danny, firstly let's eliminate any game related issues. Can you drive the Porsche from last week round this track without this severe swaying?
No. I get the same problem. - Game related/bug

Yes. OK it's this weeks car.
As you've already tried Rollbar, suspension etc wisely I may add, you can also consider;

'Caster Angle' - controls steering response
'Toe' - Add -ve Toe to improve straight line stability. Don't go overboard though, you'll compromise traction.
Slow Bump/Rebound - Driver input sensitive. Try stiffer setting.

Need I say take one setting at a time.
Try new setting1 - nope that didn't help
Reverse change
Try diff new setting2 - nope that didn't help
Reverse change
Try diff new setting3 - hey that's an improvement but still not ideal
Save/write down setting
Try tried setting1 again - that's better still
Save/write down setting

That's my approach

Thanks Nikaz - it's defintely the car, the Porsche is much more stable for me on this track. I will try again later and see what I can do

Merlin - if you go to the gears section in tuning you will see the lines for second and third are almost vertical, meaning they are very short. No matter what settings I have tried this is always the case, you just have to live with it. I only drop down to third for a couple of corners, 4th is powerful enough most of the time so it shouldn't affect you much. It's the same for everyone.

Very difficult to handle car, I've got the front caster and toe values set at the maximum to try to keep it in a straight line. Also got the gearing set to full speed and then 2nd and 3rd set at full speed also to try to help that a bit.

Still getting huge oversteer at the moment so just need to try and iron that out and I might get some more from this car.
