All you need to do now is monitor your CPU and GPU temps under load. If all seems OK use and abuse.

Coretemp for the CPU and MSI Afterburner for the GPU are good for this.

Hopefully, we've cracked it - time to enjoy your build!

And your thanks is enough - just glad it seems to be up and running...

Hehe - trying to protect your future sanity...

Macrium - user friendly and the free trial should see you sorted.

id tell u if id understan what ure saying
You can pre-load the front end of the install (the usb with the windows 7 ISO) with the missing/drivers that you need.

In theory it would install the drivers that were preventing the install and then allow the Windows 7 install to proceed.

You would need to use something like - NTLite

This is the guide on how to use it and apply drivers - Clicky

On my phone.

It's true windows 7 has stopped officially supporting your CPU - don't worry about it.

Will explain more when not out and abouta- but it won't affect your games/apps etc...

Unless you start getting errors with drivers you should be OK - but an upgrade to Windows 10 will be beneficial in the future at some point (Ryzen isn't supported either - it's an old OS now but still perfectly fit for purpose if it works)

It's 'supposedly' still possible to update to Windows 10 for free - via the 'assistive technologies' upgrade loophole. Here's a - Thread about it. Not sure it still works but may be worth a try.

Here a detailed link explaining how if you would like to consider it:
And this is the direct link for the upgrade - Upgrade Windows 10 - via assisted technologies

Yeah I've already used 10 few months ago via way you mentioned. But after few benchmarks I seen on YouTube I don't want it since it perform worse than 7

You have a completely different and faster PC now and one that Windows 10 officially supports - unlike Windows 7.

If you have an active Windows 10 licence I, personally, would use it.

Should install without any issues from a USB pen too - unlike Windows 7.

I've checked benchmarks on same CPU and Gpu and they have shown better performance on 7
Your call ultimately - but if you have a Windows 10 licence that officially supports your CPU and has access to DX12 (not vital but you have a GTX 1060) I would use it.

And Windows 10 will continue to support your CPU (optimising performance for drivers/apps etc) - where Windows 7 has stopped supporting it altogether.

I remember you wanted to know how this PC will perform so here we are. Tried 3 games so far. Heroes of the storm goes 100% of the time smooth on maxed settings. Max Payne tried only on maxed so far. Playable but not smooth. Player unknown kinda struggle on lowest with largest range of sight. But playable. this one is different due size of the map I guess
