Got an issue where the neighbour a few doors down parks his car in a turning area, me and a few others have issues getting our cars in or out because of this twerp.

I pulled him up the other day about it and he said where else can I park. He already has 2 parking spaces like us but they have 3 cars.

It's a real pain getting in and out with his car there and the most likely thing to happen is we hit our next door neighbours car trying to get ours in or out.

I guess there is nothing we can do about it.

Push the car onto his lawn then cut the fuel lines and slash the tyres. :p

He'll get the message :p

I have a similar issue, our cul de sac is barely 2 cars wide but people park opposite our driveway (because the council put in double yellow lines near the local school forcing people to park further away near us). It means we struggle to get off our drive way due to the turning circle. We're trying to get the council to put double yellow lines opposite to stop it happening.

he been away for a week and bang plonked it in the way again. its just dam right inconsiderate, he could park it behind his 2 parking spaces but then that would just inconvenience himself.

one day we will end up knocking the next door neighbours car then it will be us who have to cough up for repairs.

in a nut shell 3 cars 2 spaces *******

Wait for him to sod off then park your car there. Leave it for a week or so so he can't get his other cars out and when he approaches you act all surprised and innocent. Repeat this until he gets the message.

Even better, buy an old Volvo for a few hundred quid, park it there permanently. :p

It won't solve your problem per se, but it will be funny, and if you hit it its less of an issue.

Is he parked illegally?

This will be the crux of the matter.

probably not, it just makes everyone parking harder, my wife has to do a 3 point turn to get in her space next to mine.

here is a pic, there is usually another car behind his which pushes the red one further up towards our 2 spaces.

to the right of where i park there are 3 parking spaces for the houses across the way.

the area is a lot tighter than what it looks like in the pic.

You could get a bus in there [/obvious motors reaction]

I stand by my original point, park there. Alternatively wait for him to come out, sit in your car and just watch him. Don't break contact, just watch him constantly. I do that to people and it freaks them the **** out.

Just Park where he does, if that is your house there next to the Peugeot?

Or looks in your deeds and see if there is anything that is stated about parking restrictions, there may be as it is a new build ish.

No double yellows, looks like you live out of each others pockets judging by how close all the houses are :-/

Recognise the real enemy in all this!

Local authorities (central government) actually have specific policies on enforcing the under-provision of parking spaces on new developments.

Developers are simply not permitted to provide sensible numbers of parking spaces!

If you have the misfortune to find yourself living in a new/recent build (Any time in the last 20 years or so) and find that parking is an issue, THIS is likely to be the reason why!

If your 2 spaces are allocated and nobody else is allowed to park in them then park both of your cars where he would, solves the problems all round as he can no longer park there and your 2 cars can easily get in and out?
