Neighbour

ok spoke to the sales on site, its in the deeds that no one should park there car in that area.
also she said that the neighbour in question only have 1 parking space not 2.
so they have been using one of there neighbours spots.
there are 6 houses on this side 5 have 2 spaces, 1 house has 1 space they have 1.

this could get very interesting lol

Find out who the neighbour is that has two spaces but only uses one, buy their space off them and then rent it to this guy :D

haha the thing is, the other neighbours space they are taking they banged on his door the night they moved in at 11pm telling him that he's parking in one of there spaces lol.
they also got rid of one car..

by the looks of it if it is correct on the deeds he will need 2 more spaces :)

So the new guy backed down and settled on one space, despite having bought a house with two?

Our neighbour has 4 cars (1 driveway space) & always has one of them parked directly outside our house on the pavement.
I've thought several times about buying a cheap £200 banger & parking it there just to inconvenience them.

When the neighbours one daughters boyfriend visits & stays over he parks right opposite our drive which in turn with the other parking means it's quite tight to reverse our car out of the drive.

This is the same neighbour who refused to move the car when we were cutting down a large tree in our front garden last year, & the car was quite close to it.
As the daughter & mother walked passed they passed a comment to each other that if we caused any damage to the car (a clapped out 2001 KA) that they wouldn't be pleased

Your neighbours sound delightful :p

I'd have dropped it on top of it just to make my point.

We have 3 cars and technically no reserved spaces. However if everyone parks nicely there's enough room for 2 spaces each. How I get around the 3 car issue is by parking car 1 and 2 in spaces next to each other and the 3rd car as close as I can behind car 1 and 2.

resolves my 3 car 2 spaces issue and keeps the neighbours happy as I'm not in anyone's way or taking more than my 'fair share' of spaces.

Guy kept parking in front of a dropped kerb access to/from the courtyard of my apartment building.

Despite numerous warnings, he kept doing it.

It was almost impossible to get my bike into the courtyard.

After a long time and many many warnings, he still kept doing it and he was the only person who would park there.

I had a little tool that would remove the valve stem from the inside of the pressure valve (the one you use for inflation of a tyre)... so I would remove two of them in the middle of the night when no-one was looking.

He would come down to two deflated tyres, without the stems to hold any pressure in so he couldn't just pump them up and he only had one spare.

Despite doing this on about 5 occasions... he STILL kept parking in the same spot.

Ended up using superglue to stick a bunch of paper on his windscreen... the paper sheets were just normal A4... but the superglue on the windscreen spelled out a certain 4 letter C word that is banned on these forums... so that when he tried to pull the paper off, it would leave a massive swear word in very easy to see letters across his whole windscreen.

Then and only then, did he finally get the message and stop parking there.

Superglue does not come off a windscreen... he had to get the screen replaced... it was quite entertaining for a few days, even after he managed to get most of the paper off, he still had these big letters that looked like a distortion in the glass.

Almost amusingly... only about 2-3 weeks later, the local council changed the parking regulations for that street and no-one was able to park there at any hour of the day due to updated bus routes.

B******, the solvent to dissolve super glue is acetone.

You live in a tight area, you all have cars. You can get in and out with a bit of a faff. He's probably on some other forum posting about his whining neighbour who struggles with multi point turns.
