Netflix Sci-Fi Anthology - Love, Death & Robots

Nice, these were brilliant. Just a shame most of them weren't a lot longer!
There have been a couple that are shorts from much longer ongoing series that I would love to see the longer story get done ("Sonnie's Edge" is from Peter F Hamilton's Nights Dawn Trilogy universe which would be an awesome long run series if the budget was high enough).

Lol that trailer looks quality. Can’t wait.
Same here, especially the 3 robots (it helps the writer behind them is one of my favourites).

Even the "weak" episodes are fun and can make me think a bit, I keep meaning to try and track down the original stories from season 2, as I'd already read most of the base stories that were used for S1.

Watched them all today, animations are great but the stories are just weird for me. Lost interest in most of them, most of them were soldier stories.

I've watched a couple of them so far and enjoyed them.

Kill Team Kill feels like a callback to the a combination of all those 80's commando team films, mixed in with some monster movies and animated a bit like Gi Joe.

Night of the Mini dead is pretty great if you like zombie films, it's pretty much all of them condensed into ~6 minutes

Bad Travelling was I think very good, great animation and a nicely told story.

1. Three robots is always enjoyable. I love these guys and it’s always good to see them and their humour.

2. Bad Travelling - As mentioned, excellent animation and story. I love a good sea/monsta plot.

3. The Very Pulse of Machine - Very much weird. Great animation but I got bored fast.

4. Night of the Mini Dead - what an amazing concept! Love the tilt shift. The intro is hilarious.

5. Kill Team Kill - Lots of swearing, lots of gore and a gorram Honey Badger! Loved this!

6. Swarm - Very good story all round. Enjoyed the variation in alien creatures.

7. Masons Rats - This is hilarious. The tribulations of a farmer who has rodent problems.

8. In Vaulted Halls Entombed - Amazing visuals….The only good bug, is a dead bug! Great design of the main chamber and probably my favourite episode. The ending is superb.

9. wtf is going on ere then?! I lost track of what was going on after the geezer drank from the river. Ok so I had to read about this and the chap is cursed upon drinking from the river and receives something back. The story is most interesting now but the jarry, choppy frame rates put me off still. I suppose it is purposely done this way.

I think this season has a good amount of episodes This season has a lot of better than season 2 episodes such as Swarm, Vaulted Halls, and Bad Travelling, Masons Rats and more. Bad Travelling and Vaulted Halls/Entombed are standout episodes for me. I am now left pondering as to what chance there is of this recieving another season with all the issues and drama around NF at the moment.

Edit: Had more time to think about this.

^^ The Very Pulse of the Machine was excellent I thought. Really enjoyed that one.

The death joke in Kill Team Kill I was saying to myself before the character even said it.

The great thing about Love, Death and Robots is it reminds me of the sci-fi anthology books I used to read. Good, short ideas and not trying to stretch them too far.

Edit - had to check and was correct that it was Christian Serratos (Walking Dead) voicing Harper in “In Vaulted Halls Entombed”.
