Got level 16, and while i do enjoy the combat, the game its self is pretty linear, doubt ill play much further. Not bad for a free to play game though!

You're leveling as a tank with a pocket healer, questing is hardly going to be a challenge. I am also playing a GF with healer, but I am challenging myself by doing foundry quests designed for groups.

Why is your companion stuck at lvl 15? Send them for training.

Edit: ah your companion is maximum level 15, interesting. I guess you need to get 2 more to have 3 active at once to help more then.

Free/gold companions are limited to level 15. Only the Zen shop ones can go above that.

You can only have one active at once, you can have more than one in the companion slots but only one active at any given time.

There will be no character wipe from the release of open beta last week (with the exception of a critical database fault, which is highly unlikely). So feel free to play on..



On the subject of companions, they WILL be able to level beyond rank 15, but not until cryptic decide to release the training books for them, the problem is, with all the issues they've had this week with hardware failures at the main data centre, they've not had time to address much beyond 'server stability'. Hopefully in this next week, that will change (I hope so, because at level 40, my cleric companion being stuck at rank 15, is a serious liability)

In the last few mmo's we almost become the unofficial OcUk guild, just read the sw.tor thread or even the GW2 one.

Just saw video on this on TGN, started downloading but getting less then 1kbps on client, any faster places?

Edit: nevermind just noticed gamefront as full game download, not just cilent
 
yea i did this too^ much quicker

im level 5 now and soo far it seems really promising! kind of like a diablo third person mmo so far in terms of combat and how things are playing out

excited to continue!

Still not maxing out though (getting about half what I would normaly) so might try another place

Hows the leveling speed in it btw?

Edit: gamershell seems best, maxing out my connection, shame I downloaded nearly a Gb on last 1, could have been done now if I had used this 1 from start

I used the official client, it started slow like you said but it sped up and after a few minutes I was getting 700kbs iirc.
