NeverWinter

So a server roll-back then.

Looks like just a days worth. I'd finally made it out of that hellish map with the giant wall blocking the quest path too.

A lot of people are still unhappy due to the fact that a lot of people that were hush hush about the exploit might get away with it due to only being just a days wipe.

Yeah, people have been saying it has been going on since CLOSED beta? I am done with the game anyway, but it just seems like they have just chipped off the top of the iceberg tbh.

I've been playing since 25th and have 4 lvl 60's why did I spend such an absurd amount of money? wish I could get it back. That 2mil astral diamond isn't worth much now. :(

I've pretty much given up on it without a wipe, people still have ill gotten items/AD after the rollback so it has done nothing.

That is my personal verdict, if they do a full wipe then i will start again and be glad they see sense.

Nah, the game itself is good fun, if a little linear. What's happened doesn't stop you enjoying the game initially, although god knows what kind of state the AH will be in when they finally put it back online.

so what server are you all on? I started up the game today to give it a shot and it was okay, i like the dodging at least lol.

I am having a hard time getting my head around why your 2 mill AC is not worth much now. I understand that in real life a way to cripple an economy is to make everyone rich. The Nazi's had a plan to do this with counterfeit US dollars and Sterling (but were scuppered) during WW2.

However in the case of NW the vast majority of the player population did not exploit and therefore are not rich with AC.

Also; and this is how I understand it (so if anyone wants to explain where I may be going wrong then go for it) with the above example, the price of goods and commodities increases to allow for the fact that everyone is rich. However, Zen has not gone up. The price of Zen items has not increased. So your 1 euro will still buy you the same amount of Zen as it would have at the start of the beta and the price of items on the Zen market remain the same.

The fact that the zen-AC market has crashed will be healed with time and exploiters accounts banned so save your AC while you play and convert to Zen in a few weeks.

In terms of the AH, so an exploiter has loadsa purples, well in a few months so will everyone else, so this will also balance out. If the market is flooded with loadsa purples, and their cost is therefore driven down then your 2 mill will be worth more. conversely if someone wants to corner the purple market and offer the items at to high a price then they will be easier to undercut when the rest of the player base get said purple items and the exploiter will not sell anything.

I agree it is not good, however is the game truly broken? Is it unplayable? Can you not level your character and seek challenges from the dungeons and PvP?

I am not looking to troll here. Just looking to put my understanding across and seek some sort of clarity to the situation.

7H rollback is why i wont even try to play this game.

If they would do full wipe i would start it just this very minute !!!

****ing Cryptic is ****. Same situation how they messed up Startrek Online.

They cant make a good game. They just make money.

CaptainRAVE me and my room mate QUIT wow for Startrek online
Sadly for 1 month cause playing only after work and on weekends we ran out of stuff to do LOL And they call that an mmo.

I'm asking for a refund, if I get my dosh back I 'm going to throw it at Grim Dawn and try the alpha.

I can always make a new Neverwinter account and play it in the future sometime, after all it's a fun game!
