I think that it looks very nice, looks nicer up front and personal :)

Any interesting new features on it that stand out?

I'd just like to point out that you said it looked nothing like that rendering, yet...it clearly does!

Not all that exciting looking to be honest, and looks very similar to the pics posted before. Compared to the looks of the old one its not that great, it's got ford lights, a mazda grill and seat rear end which is all very kia tbh. At least the old one was nice and distinctive/unique/sleek this is just another bland murky shape.

I have a slightly odd taste for cars though as I always liked the new flame surfaced bmws (well obv not the rear lights on the 6,7 series but eveything else) I think the new insignia is nasty as well, different maybe but definaitly ugly as sin.

Looks very much par for the course..

The insignia interior can be a little drab in colour would be the only real criticism, but having driven a few insignia's now (Yes, hire cars!), it feels a reasonable mix of style/substance.

Not sure what the chassis will be like, they say 'stiffer chassis' but what that translates to, I've no idea!..
They did mention a better suspension setup in original stories, but they do say 'non-independant rear suspension' in that CAR article which I think will get it a lot of dissing, even if it's capable on a track..

I can't get excited about a run of the mill car, but I think it'll be received as a worthy Focus/Golf alternative (not on here of course!)

Will we ever see anything 'exciting' coming in this sector? the Golf and Focus are just evolutionary re-hashes for the main..

Aparently official picture of a picture/render.

Looks very Mazda and Ford esque.

Some renderings here:

Not too bad imo.

It looks like it wants to have an estate rear in those pictures

Coming soon to an Enterprise rental shop near you.

I hope so!, it'll make a great alternative to the Focus/Golf/Megane overload that we've had the last few months..

Seems like Ford are offloading as much as they can to the rental market judging by the head count of each brand we are seeing

:D

Not here they arn't :(

Maybe they offload thier cars to branches in areas where they think they'll sell. Everyone round here has VX's on lease :/

its really cool, the dials change from blue to red depending on how you drive, and if you press the sports button :)

Yawn,
Something I was curious about. Does anyone ever actually buy a Vauxhall at full price because they really really want one, or is it simply that they're knocked out cheap or sold as hire cars?
I don't remember ever coming across one that had a desirability level above that of a cold cabbage (apart from the VXR8).
