i guarantee you 2 years down the line, there'll be something better and greater.

That build you suggested looks promising is that RX 5700 good as Nvidia? Also the motherboard the bios issue still okay is there any alternative?

it's a rx5700 XT - at stock, it sits in between a 2060 super and a 2070 super

the issue is that for a 3600, the newly released x570 boards are overkill - but only the x570 boards will work out of the box for the ryzen 3000 series. also, getting a x570 board means that you'll have to scrimp on some other part of the build.
the value alternative are the b450 boards - but this will need a bios update before it will work with ryzen 3000 series chips.

i suppose the question is: are you comfortable with updating bios on your own?

you could potentially ask ocuk to build this spec for you (ask in the presales section on the forum) and get a quote if you don't feel confident.
but it will be more of a £1400 build due to labour costs

also: windows isn't specced as it makes more financial sense to get a grey windows key on the cheap (~£5)

Dont mine updating the bios as have a mate that help me in the build, also windows key i have on for my laptop already. So no need for one.. That build you posted be fine then? No need to change anything mate?

3600 has a higher single-core performance, also ram doesn't affect performance on the 3600 as much as the 2700.
Multicore-wise, 2700 is slightly faster than the 3600 (8 slower cores is better than 6 faster cores).
But for gaming, 3600 is faster, because single core performance still matters a lot.

TL;DR version: for gaming, get the 3600.
