New Build

What are his prices usually? Think he will be able to solve the issue with my GPU and CPU power leaders having to many headers?

Davido does it for the love of it, I think. You'd just need to pay for the materials, and be patient as he does it in his spare time. Pexon PCs do it professionally and I have no clue about their prices. There are probably others.

As for too many headers, on the top of your mobo there is an 8 pin header and a 4 pin header. You only need to use the 8 pin header (with a 4+4 pin connector), meaning that the extra cable you have doesn't need to be used.

Will upload some pics to explain the situation with the spare headers on CPU and GPU power soon.

Ok, great.

Alright mate - pics below. My PSU only came with one CPU power cabl and as you can see, a big blue peice doesn't need to be used. Same for the GPU, except there is another cable for SLI (Would leave even more bits hanging off then!)

Any ideas if this can be rectified or should I just leave them there?

That looks ok.

You technically don't need that extra 4pin plugged in (the blue plug) as the board will operate with just the 8pin attached.

Having the extra 4pin plugged in wont hurt it, so if you cant remove it then dont worry.

Both CPU (blue cable) and GPU (red cable) are all sleeved together mate so i've got a loose blue and a loose red which is annoying. Ideally they'd be separate so I could remove the ones I don't need but unfortunately that's not the case. No way around this? I guess I'll have to live with it if not and the PSU is simply setup this way for more powerful boards / GPUS that need more pins than mine?
