New car :)

I reallly really don't think that Pete has to worry about accidently having kids ;)

Nice car, makes me wonder if im going to accidently spontaniously buy a 530i at some point, is it some kind of thing that they dont tell you about when you get a mondeo that you have no choice but to go for a 530i after? :p

That's a couple of beasts there, nice photo :) Just quoting that pic so I can see it without having to go back to the first page every time.
How many miles are on each of those?

black is a far more win colour! nice one pete

as for the badge.... hot (but not boiling) water and some cheese wire (or picture wire)

dont go jamming a screwdriver under it and try to pry it off, cause you will damage the paint...

good luck, debadged is the best way for sure! :D

Thanks mate, will give it a go at the weekend - the only way to get hot water to my car at the minute would be to boil the hotel room kettle and wonder over the road with it! I might look a little odd :p

Is your car the black one? It looks nicer than the silver one IMO :)

You get a thumbs up from me, it is a little boring but a great all round car none the less

Looks very nice, not my cup of tea (yet, anyway ;)) but i can see it being a fantastic all rounder. Congrats!

Sorry for being OT but Oblivious, is your Elise your daily driver?

Have you actually been in one? Can you describe to me how it is boring exactly? What do you drive?

Yeah my uncle has a 528 which I've been in. For me it is boring because it is an executive car with a full luxury interior, it looks like a dated executive car and while it isn't a bad looking car it isn't flamboyant or in any way a modern or innovative design, it isn't particularly good in the twisties but is very planted, stable and predictable, it isn't particularly fast or exciting. I drive a Focus 1.6 (not for long) :)

Its a 3l Petrol Sport. Its quick ;) Just because its fast in a silent and efficent manner.

I agree with what your saying to a degree, but its hardly boring. It doesnt look 'dated' thats only because the new one is out and you see that. Sit it next to a E-class and it still looks great.

lol

So the fact your uncle has an old 528i means a 530i Sport is boring, isn't particularly good in the twisties and isn't particularly fast?

Whilst it won't compare to the raw power of your Focus, a car which does 0-100 in 17 seconds and 0-60 in less than 7 isn't 'not particularly fast'.
