Also pretty happy with my LG variant of this screen, have over time got used to the over saturated colours so dont use sRGB much now.

Still tempted.

Just keep looking at 240hz 1440 monitors and wondering if they are worth the extra for gaming.

Is there any benefit in doing a firmware update or anything on these? I've had it pretty much default for about two years.

I made my post based on assumption haha. Maybe there's not even anything to do with it anyway.

I've never messed with monitors in past so I just thought I was maybe missing something.

Is there any reason why when I connect my monitor up to my other rig, with HDMI, it displays initially (through BIOS, post etc.) and yet as soon as Windows (11) loads, it loses signal and goes to sleep?!

Is it a multi monitor setup? Perhaps in the windows display settings you need to change how it's utilising the second screen. (Extend, Mirror, etc).

No, single monitor. It's a weird one. I was guessing it must have been an issue, Windows-side.

Have you tried booting to safe mode to see if the problem is the same? Might help to rule out drivers.

I've moved the machine away now to be fair, I only needed it to test something. I'll try again at the weekend

i got my S2721dgfa on £229 1 year ago.

Vertical lines appeared on my S2721dgfa so I asked for a replacement and they sent me the G2724D which looks similar but missing the audio and usb ports and no blue backlight.

I WhatsApp Dell to see if this is correct because I'm supposed to get the S721dgfa.

Edit: they said it's my replacement so guess I'll start unboxing and setting it up

Mine had just ended it's three years on site warranty so I extended it for another two for £50.
