New essential Android apps thread

I can't get over how good Textra is, I don't text often thoigh my iOS friends do (sodding iMessage!).

Noticed the first ad in Textra so just bought the Pro version.

+1 for Telegram by the way. It's so slick and smooth it's great. Just no one I know uses it. Need to convince people to get away from WhatsApp!

Still using QKSMS, used it since it's early beta/alpha days, can't fault it, super slick, looks stunning, and has tons of features. The two dev guys are very active on their Google+ discussion so heavily develop around the users feedback and requirements.

Got the message just now for Textra as well. Really loving it.

I love Telegram too on how smooth it is... been trying to move people off WhatsApp to use it but no luck at all...

is there a cloud storage which can sync with an app my photos/music ?

i have over 40gb music and pics on an sdcard but want to move it to the cloud.

I am assuming once 40gb has been uploaded it can periodically sync to see if any new files/changes and upload/download if necessary ?

does something like this exist ?

Google Music can hold up to 20,000 songs, although you will need to upload them on Chrome or with the desktop software.

There are various apps to back up your photos, such as Google Photos, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. They will do it automatically, so any new pictures will be backed up very quickly.

You can download your playlists to your phone and listen to them offline.

I have a 64gb memory card and i am trying to offload a lot of stuff to the cloud if I can.
