New essential Android apps thread

It's good for those that don't have manual features baked into their stock camera app. Since you have the Note 5 I wouldn't really bother. :)

As good as a stock camera app? It'd be nice to have a little more control and feedback if it's as quick and reliable as the Marshmallow (in my case 6P) camera app.

If you use a Gmail account, is there any reason to use a 3rd party app?

The only thing that annoys me is that it doesn't poll my other accounts regularly enough (sometimes it can be hours before an email comes through).

Other than that I just use inbox which works brilliantly.

Looking at the pro features of Pushbullet the only one I do use is the mirrored notification action support. I do send SMS via Pushbullet as well but it pretty much never goes past 100 a month (other messenger apps I use a Chrome app version). So I guess the basic version of Pushbullet will be fine for me.

Broken record (assume I have ranted about this before) but please for the love of God - how do you stop WhatsApp completely muting whatever you're watching when you receive a message? I swear it didn't previously do it this aggressively, drives me mad! Why would that be a good feature!?

Whats the best weather and clock widget that doesnt drain battery or keep device awake for insane amount of time, ive tried Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets and both while being nice to look at are battery hogs.

I've only today discovered RRO/Layers theming (requires ROOT). It mega . Real system wide themeing. System UI, apps, softkeys, status bar, recent app cards...

This is TimberWolf and it's nigh on perfect for what I was looking for.
