Maildroid for me.
 
You can configure Gmail to use any IMAP or POP3 email address. I have all my emails (about 7 or 8, spanning other Gmail, Hotmail, other webmail, etc) setup in my primary Gmail account, so the Gmail app or Gmail web when on a PC is all I need.

I've used touchdown for about three years. I have never heard of nine for exchange but I just tried it out and first impressions are it is very good. I think I'll be changing, thanks.
 
Gmail uses Push. Configure your external accounts in Gmail via the PC and let the App sync from there.
 
Ive been trough all the email apps and settled on Aquamail, Found it the best, regular updates and works very with gmail and my personal account
 
i'm actually really shocked it's taken so long for the gmail app to handle other email addresses without needless workarounds. can't wait as although k9 is fine, i'd prefer to use gmail as it's a beautiful app already, let alone with this update.
