Is there a way to open the first page? With question threads that stretch over more than say 5 pages if you click the link it takes me to the last page and there's no way to open the first page?

This has been getting on my nerves a bit as well. I've found the change quite jarring as I've only been able to really read the forums for the first time tonight - but it is looking quite nice and it's lightning quick!

Just noticed that people on my ignore list posts don't show AT ALL now and best of all when people quote ignored posts, the post/quote box doesn't show at all either, fantastic! Was wondering why some posts lately didn't make much sense then saw the "show ignored posts" button at the bottom Makes this forum a lot more bearable to read now


And +1 to bringing back the remove/hide avatars option, can't stand the "mafia" theme, so dated and childish.

Just because something hasn't been implemented instantly or commented on, doesn't mean we're not looking at it.

This is something that's already been raised (before we even went live, actually).

Soon the top browsers are going to be marking non HTTPS sites as insecure. I hope OC's have plans to implement this feature.

I haven't read this whole thread (obviously), but is it possible to show avatars and signatures as default when not logged in? I tend not to log in at work, so having these 2 things on makes my life easier when quickly skimming threads to see where I left off (and also to ignore certain posters..)

I experimented turning off avatars and signatures, the forum looks much cleaner now. Going to leave them off I think.

But now you won't see how many skill points you have
Like quite a few others, I would like the ability to turn off the outdated avatars but keep the sig.

When I click on the thread title it loads the OP but yeah obviously clicking the time of last post link on the far right takes you to the latest post in said thread? Not sure I get what the issue is there!

The good thing is the forum now works great with chrome so no real need to use opera/boat etc

One of the few "joys" of being in the IT dept is I can do what I like pretty much on my VM while everyone else in the company has to use what they're told on XenApp.

I wish I had control over the system that I use to browse the web. I'm one of the lead engineers on another system which sadly has no web access.

I quite like how you get a notification if your post gets quoted! All round this upgrade is spot on! Think its the first time we've had a GUI refresh? (ever since I signed up 11 years ago)
