Seeing some overlap on triple digit pagination.

Yup that's been noted, thanks

After a mornings browsing I'm getting used to the theme, just a few annoying little niggles to sort out, but they can be sorted browser side so I'm not concerned. :p.

There are a number of issues that have been posted already.

1. "New" box that appears in top right of post sits on top of the content.
2. References to Like system, yet no ability to like.
3. User's post history only going back as far as September.
4. Pagination overlapping when over 100.
5. Boxes within Boxes within Boxes.
6. The reply box for posts is black.
7. The new alert background is black.
8. Drop shadows.
9. Bold thread titles are difficult to read. Need a different way to highlight unread threads.

Perhaps quote this list and add to it.

You want honest feedback?

It's horrid.

Just seems totally unnecessary. It's basically the same but with pointless additional screen furniture. The endless nesting of boxes/areas is irritating and just consumes screen space. For example a quote inside a post is now nested inside four levels of boxes.

Really just don't see the point.

You're focussing on the wrong thing that's why you don't see the point. The old software was waaaayyy out of date and probably full of security holes. The visual elements can be easily tweaked with decent feedback (I agree with you about the boxes).

HI there

Thumbs up from me! ;)

Oh come on Gibbo, you'd hardly say it looks bad or give it any negatives. In actual fact many of the DONS/Staff haven't, funnily enough

In terms of positives from myself - I really like the multi-quote saving option, the speed and the notifications. But the design theme is awful, just like the main website... Can you give the members a choice of themes they might like?

If you're going to do a mobile version it has to be clean. Ditch the Avatars and the location information, who cares? At the moment the top of each post is normally 5x the size of the post itself, massive waste of space.

And yes all the boxes within boxes and drop shadows really dates the desktop version. If you put this next to the "old" site and showed someone who's never seen either before I bet they'd think this pre-dates the old one.

Agree with these.

The user CP/alert preferences page, whatever it's called is just a big box of space with no decent borders.

Is there a way to collapse the forum lists as before, save scrolling past ones you don't really use?

Also the hover preview text doesn't seem to be available / working.

Trying to find my list of posts / threads is more complicated and long winded than before, and they aren't all there / in order. :(

I want to be able to click someones name/avatar and go to their profile, not an overlay thing. Its all a bit cack handed. :p
