i mean totally remove the whole cage that the trays slide in/out of.
maybe remove rivets and take out cage, unless that is structural and holding up the dvd drive bays.
if it is pos then i would put my hdd in the place on a dvd drive.

i tihkning about building a mini itx for mobility and power usage and this case loks awesome for it
Please note that there is no room for a 5,25-inch drive, we deliberately left this out since you don't generally use that in a NAS/Home Server environment, and it saved us a lot of space which we could use for fitting hard drives instead.
