Great - you're well on the way.

Should be relatively easy as the CPU/HS/memory is already installed...

If it fails to boot with your card - it will need a BIOS update.

Do I need to connect the HDD with this connector or just the normal power and sata connectors? Save me using two cables then.
 
Ok great. Seems like this motherboard only supports one case fan as well so won't be able to plug that in or the USB3.

Might need some help on the F Panel, confuses me, is there a guide I can follow or?
 
Where it says what colour cable e.g - Power switch - Red. Is that referring to Red is the positive? It doesn't clearly say which colour cable is which. (Probably does, I'm just not understanding it).
 
Red/coloured positive - white/black negative.

Edit: I should have also added that there's usually an arrow/triangle on the side of the positive connection.

Do you have signs of life yet?

This will technically be your first build...

You can install with the GPU installed. But if it fails to boot/beeps - update the BIOS.

In the BIOS load optimised defaults, set the XMP for the memory and set to AHCI.

Just spotted this - are you sure there isn't a molex connector attached too? Or check the other fan - that may have one if it's an older case.

I have a molex lead for the power supply but the fan can't plug in to that can it?

I have all connectors plugged in to the motherboard. Shall I try using on board graphics to see if it launches ok?
