No I haven't, this is just starting from the SSD that was in his old PC with Windows 7. It did give me the option to start Windows normally but had no keyboard in so just started doing this repair.

On the disk box/card that your mate should have supplied with the PC - or perhaps he wrote it down?I could do a fresh install yes but where do I find the OEM key? I'd need that wouldn't I when I do a fresh install?

What revision is the board - CPU-z should tell you this too.BIOS version is F11.

That is PEG - it sets PCIex16 as the first display.PCIEX16 (directly below heatsink)

So gfx card should have been recognised.
Is quick boot disabled?
