New iPod??

Just got a new 8 gig touch.

Very impressed to b e honest. But i have noticed after using it for a small amount of time the cover is already covered in fingerprints!!!

Also just got an 8Gb touch, very impressed, but one thing i have noticed is when i turn it on the Apple sign seems to be kind of corrupt, has like a thin slice out of it and maybe slight corruption of the top part, anyone else got this?

Did a restore, but it didnt change anything. Seems to work fine otherwise though.
 
Np, feels a lot better. Definite improvements to coverflow, menus and overall performance. Does make a lot of changes to your photos as well, so you will have to resync them otherwise it won't work. Did it for me automatically.

Gives you a little progress bar on the iPod too to show how it is getting along with ejecting itself.
 
I got my iPod Touch (16GB) on Tuesday, and it's very impressive. It's been Jailbreakdeddeded already and I have the perfect setup for myself! Audio playback is brilliant and made even better by my new Shure E3c's. It's a huge step up from what I had previosly, which was a 40GB 4G click-wheel.

One little problem I've been having, iTunes didn't have artwork for a couple of albums I've got, so I downloaded the album art from some other shopping site (South-American river). Anyways, they appear in iTunes now, but when I tried sincing them, they still won't appear on the iPod.
 
To get the album art onto the ipod touch without using itunes shop, highlight the song or songs in itunes and right click> get info and then just copy and paste your album picture into the album art box. And then sync it.
 
Just got my new ipod classic, mixed feelings....

The ipod do feel really nice in my hand but for a market leading product you think they can put more into the box...I kinda knew I won't be getting the dock and charger but this is kinda taking the biscuit. I remember the older ipods come with a slip case? not in the new one you don't, and instead of the dock, i got some plastic thing that the ipod supposed to sit on??????

Plus the box is tiny, was expecting something elaborate, my usb stick came in a bigger box lol, there wasn't even a CD with itunes with it, so if you don't have a broadband connection at the time of receiving the ipod you are screwed !

I think that's because they see people already have an old iPod so they don't need anything else.. a bit greener but also does hide the additional costs if you don't have those parts..
